Summary
After getting the Shiny Rod, her friendship with Croix was almost a complete wreck by now, not that Croix made an effort to hurt, but rather that Croix didn't make an effort, at all. She was never to be seen outside of classes, and the secret lab she kept hidden under her bed was as secure as a military base by now. It's been months since Chariot had last talked to her and the conversation did not go well.
It was almost Christmas, Chariot had spent it with Croix since they've met each other, she wasn't religious, but she wsn't going to pass up on a holiday that's about gifts and spending time with your loved ones, about half year through her first year. But this time, Croix was going home, to her mom.
So Chariot was expecting to spend the holiday alone. And therefor was very surprised to see Croix standing in front of her, looking like she's already regretting coming here. It was silent for a few minutes, the two of them not daring to look at each other. But right when Chariot was about to question why Croix was here, Croix decided to speak up.
“I need your help with something...”
