Summary
Clara's been pretty unsuccessful with love, and she could use an escape from the mundane routine of real life. Entering Love Island should be a bit of a laugh, she reckons. But the bright, shining world of the villa entraps you pretty quickly; fake friends, rivals and jealousy become your closest companions. Not to mention the ever turbulent ride of falling for someone when your every move is captured for the nation by cameras and lights.
She kind of feels like she’s dreaming — last night she walked in through the doors to this crazy, fast-paced little world where you tread like you’re walking over broken glass, and the next moment you’re cuddled up with the fittest guy in the place and feeling like you’re floating on air. The highs sure are highs, she thinks.
