   Summary

   When you're on the run from a god, even the Devil looks like a friend. Cristina Jasper is in hiding, trying to run from a bleak fate back home. That is when a mysterious stranger offers her a chance to fix her greatest mistake.

   "Join forces with me and kill the monster that calls itself the Herald of Despair." But is the enemy of her enemy her friend or merely another enemy? In the case of Albert Wesker maybe a little bit of both.

   And can she still hunt monsters when her own humanity is starting to grow dim?

   CW: Canon typical violence, huge power differential in a relationship, manipulation, main character isn't very nice (she's a monster actually. Just because she feels guilt doesn't change her monstrous nature), urban fantasy crossover because I'm a strange person with strange thoughts, vampires with all that entails.

   All Resident Evil characters belong to Capcom, this fic is written entirely for nonprofit reasons. The OCs and original universe belongs to me
