their eclipsing sun

Summary:

Hell hath no fury like people in the mafia getting (unknowingly) attached to a sunshine child.

Or: a series of snippets/drabbles in which the others adopt Chay as their own.

(Porsche would like to protest these occurrences, thank you very much.)
----
Requests are open :) Just lmk who you want Chay to interact with and I'll do my best to make something wholesome between 'em ^^ (if you want a specific scenario, too, just lmk also!)

Chapter 1: big & ken.

Chapter Text

Chay huffed loudly. “Don’t take anything Porsche says to heart. He’s still mad that our Uncle left us for ruin, which I mean fair, but in all seriousness, he’s a bit more impulsive between the two of us.”

The two men looked at one another before the one with the piercings asked, “What do you mean your uncle left you for ruin?”

Chay blinked. “Um. Well, promise that you won’t tell Porsche I told you all this?”

They nodded.

“Okay, well, he kept borrowing from loan sharks, got into major debt and left us two to deal with it; Porsche had to work multiple jobs to pay it off. Meanwhile, I kept getting the brunt of the damage and my uncle continued to run away and play hide-and-seek. 10/10 don’t recommend that experience, it’s really not fun.” Chay stated nonchalantly.

Big and Ken gaped at each other at the boy’s tone. They started whispering to one another when he left the dining room to cook something in the kitchen.

“I can’t believe their uncle did that—” Big hissed, Ken nodding aggressively in shared feelings.

Their conversations continued with Big and Ken slowly fishing information from the boy. By the end they were absolutely fuming and willingly gave their number to the boy, imploring him to call them if he need any help — big or small. Chay looked at them curiously but giggled, eyes turning to crescents as he smiled brightly up at them, wrapping himself around them for a deep hug.

They didn’t move.

It was nice, sorta.

Affection, that is…
