“Take care on the way back goldfishie!” Floyd waved goodbye with a smile before turning his back on him. Riddle didn’t know how to respond so he just waved to his retreating figure wordlessly.
After the shock wore off he started walking towards their dorm with many thoughts running through his head. The silence in walking alone urged him to open the notebook to shake off everything in his mind. The anger that he felt when he saw the scribbled words contrasting his handwriting immediately wore of and was replaced with something else entirely.
He wasn't able to contain his smile as warm feelings started bubbling up his chest and into his whole body. Perhaps it's the way he bumped his head three times that he felt light-headed after reading those words.
