Rohan groaned softly as his husband threw open their bedroom curtains, the sun suddenly shining in his eyes, waking him from his comfortable sleep.
“Good morning babe.” Josuke announced cheerfully, walking over to Rohan’s side of the bed, leaning down to kiss his temple.
“Nhhh, five more minutes…” Rohan mumbled tiredly, rolling away from the edge of the bed, wanting to sleep in a little longer.
Josuke chuckled softly, shaking his head in amusement. “Come on babe, you’re going to let your breakfast get all cold.” He replied with a playful smile, knowing just how to get his husband's attention.
At the mention of food, Rohan poked his head out from his nest of blankets, looking over at Josuke with tired interest. “What kind of breakfast?” He asked sleepily, though they both knew he would come down to eat no matter what it was.
“Dorayaki.” Josuke replied with a big grin, knowing that dorayaki was Rohan’s favorite. Josuke made it a lot just for him. He was still a little sluggish, but Rohan was out of bed pretty quickly, following after Josuke as they headed downstairs to the kitchen. He sat down patiently at the dining table, watching with hungry eyes as Josuke put the dorayaki on plates, setting them gently down on the table. Rohan immediately dug in, scarfing the food down like a starving wolf. Josuke chuckled softly as he sat down as well, and started eating his own food. As soon as they were both finished, Josuke grabbed their plates, and headed into the kitchen to wash them off. Rohan used this opportunity to sneak back off to the bedroom, craving just a little more sleep. He flopped down on the bed, immediately burying himself beneath his nest of blankets. It wasn’t long before Josuke was walking back into their room, shaking his head slightly when he saw Rohan back in bed.
“Really?” Josuke asked in an exasperated voice, an amused smile encompassing his face as he walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge.
“Tired…” Rohan mumbled in reply, peeking over at Josuke with one eye.
“Hmmm, well, have a good nap then.” Josuke replied with a snort, getting ready to leave to attend to any chores that needed done. Before he could budge a single muscle, Rohan pulled him down onto the bed, before snuggling up to his chest. “Roh, I have stuff I have to-” Josuke started, before Rohan cut him off.
“Stay…” He mumbled tiredly, wanting to cuddle with his husband for a little while.
Josuke let out a soft sigh, pulling Rohan closer to him. “Alright, I’ll stay. But only for a little while.” He replied softly, planting a gentle kiss on the top of Rohan’s head. Rohan simply hummed in reply, burying his face into Josuke’s broad chest. It wasn’t long until they were both asleep again, enjoying each other’s comfort.
