Josuke walked into his boyfriend's house, gasping softly as a tiny little puppy ran up to him, with Rohan close behind.
“Babe, you didn’t tell me you got a puppy!” Josuke exclaimed excitedly, moving to give Rohan a quick kiss on the cheek, before focusing his attention back on the small dog.
“Well, it hadn’t exactly been planned. And I didn’t want to bother you during your trip.” Rohan replied, not quite sure how to explain the puppy. Though, Josuke didn’t actually seem to care about the why or how, as he was more focused on petting the little guy.
“You know I wouldn’t have minded. Anyway, what’s his name?” Josuke asked chipperly as he sat down on the ground, the dog immediately jumping up into his lap for more pets.
“His name is Bakin. He’s a lab retriever mix.” Rohan replied as he watched them play together, glad that they were getting along so well. Bakin seemed so happy as he wiggled around in Josuke’s lap, barking up a storm. Eventually Josuke stopped petting the little puppy, setting Bakin back down on the ground, before standing up and walking over to Rohan, giving his boyfriend a proper kiss this time.
“So how was your trip to visit your sisters?” Rohan asked softly, lifting his hands to smooth down the collar of Josuke’s shirt, fussing over the wrinkles.
Josuke chuckled softly, loving how adorable his fussy boyfriend could be. “It was good. Holly is as sweet as ever. Sometimes I wish we had gotten the chance to grow up together. And Shizuka is growing bigger and bigger every day. I’m almost going to be sad when she’s all grown up.” Josuke replied, reminiscing over his trip. Recently he had taken a train over to Tokyo to go visit his sisters while Shizuka was staying with Holly for a little bit, while Jotaro and his dad took care of some business back in America. How that old geezer managed to run a company anymore was beyond him, but Josuke was glad he was still kicking.
“Hmm, that’s good. I’m glad your family is so accepting of you.” Rohan mused, finding it fascinating how open minded the Joestar family was. They kept surprising him all the time.
“Yeah, they're good people. For the most part, anyway.” Josuke replied awkwardly, thinking back to how he had been born in the first place.
“Well, I’m glad you’re back now. I missed you.” Rohan whispered softly, wrapping his arms around the taller man's waist, resting his head on Josuke’s chest.
“I missed you too Rohan.” Josuke replied with a soft smile, planting a kiss on the top of Rohan’s head.
