As far as I know, it once was a river, a big one. And from what I’ve heard, a really beautiful one. But of that river, only this creek remains, which has somehow managed to make its way out of that apartment complex. There is also something nostalgic about how the current sounds when it hits the rocks or flows quietly. Its beauty makes me walk here again and again.

It's rather fitting for their crappy goddamn lives, that when a spell of devotion hits Dean in the middle of a hunt, he looks directly at Castiel: his best friend and the angel who confessed his love to Dean before dying.
No matter how good they've been at ignoring Cas' feelings since his return from The Empty, with Dean now bespelled to love him, sweeping it under the rug isn't going to be possible once they break the curse.

When the new case is at a hotel currently booked by a couples only event, the boys decide to bring in reinforcements.
'Dean had known it was a terrible idea the moment his brother agreed to play the gay couple at the retreat. He should have said something the second he realized denying himself the opportunity to play happy couple with Castiel would mean that his brother would be the only other option. He should have just agreed to partner with Cas on this case from the beginning. But his stupid fucking pride had told him he couldn’t spend an entire week pretending to be gay, and he had listened. Because he was an idiot.'
