Summary
**Spoilers for Morality/Frederica's Route**
It's been days since their desperate escape from Hyzante; since they discovered their homeland and proved all of Orlaea's legends true. It's a victory as sweet as the salt that flows freely in this new land, yet for Frederica, it's also as bitter. She finds herself returning to the waterfall at the edge of the world in hopes of finding some trace of her love's fate. Closure is a luxury in war, she knows this, yet she seeks it all the same.
She just wants to bring him home--whether to celebrate, or to mourn.
The stars overhead offer solace at times, a twinkling warmth in the cold void above. At times their distance only illuminates the singular loneliness of the soul gazing up at their splendor. Yet one promise stands true--even the darkest night will end with the sun's awakening.
