Last of the Cake

Summary:

All Neville wanted was some chocolate cake....
Based on Panville Prompt: I wanted to piss you off!

Work Text:

“You said you’d leave me some cake.” Neville complained as he came home to find all the chocolate cake gone except for the tiniest, most passive aggressive sized sliver of slice that sat on the plate. It somehow miraculously still stood up right. It really pissed him off too as he’d really been looking forward to it.

“I did. I left you a slice.” Pansy said, she laid on the couch with a book. Neville came out of the kitchen with the plate and gave her an incredulous look. She closed her book and rested it on her pregnant belly before she smiled innocently at him.

“This is what you call a slice?! It’s barely a sliver! It’s actually more like a big crumb. You know,  last week there were dregs in the milk bottles, near empty yoghurt containers, the spoonful of ice cream left in the empty bucket. Why are you doing this when I know you have no problem finishing things?!” he asked her, completely annoyed at her.

“I wanted to piss you off.” she stated with a shrug, Neville was speechless for a moment.

“Why?” he asked, he didn’t remember doing anything to merit such passive aggressive behaviour that borderline on vindictive.

“Three reasons. One; Cause I’m bored, two; you’re so cute when you get mad, and three; you keep turning on and then not getting me off which is pissing me off.” she informed him. She glowered as she pointed out number 3 in her list.

“The healers said no sex and no orgasms, you’re on pelvic rest.” he reminded her, she sulked at him as she didn’t need reminding of the restrictions she was under.

“How are they gonna know?” Pansy asked crankily.

“When you birth our son prematurely.” he answered with a wry smile as pregnancy hadn’t been easy on either of them. The pregnancy books didn’t have a chapter on this to help him out.

“Well could you just not be so attractive then.” she told him.

“I’ll try my very best.” he deadpanned as he rested a hand on her knee and gave it a comforting squeeze.

“Thank you.” Pansy said, she picked up her book and opened it, pretending to read.

“Did you really have to eat all the cake?” He asked her.

“The baby was hungry.” Pansy replied.
