As a general rule, being allergic to feathers and all, Adrien tended to stay out of the way of feathery bipeds, and, living in a city such as Paris, there were a lot of the aforementioned bipeds going around.
Pigeons, he meant pigeons, which, most often than not, were regular everyday pigeons of the non superpowered variety.
And, if Adrien had a penny for everytime he had encountered a pigeon with extraordinary powers, he would have 73 pennies now, which was 72 times more than he needed.
But now, looking wide eyed at the pigeon that had just dive bombed in through his bedroom window onto his bed, narrowly missing Adrien himself, sitting on the edge, as it made pigeon noises, while trying to stand up, Adrien felt something that he had never thought he would feel towards a pigeon.
He was in love with it, the pigeon.
It was definitely an extraordinary scenario, a pigeon wearing a mask? A pigeon wearing a ladybug themed mask? A pigeon who was ladybug? A pigeon whom he was in love with?
It wasn’t a hard mental leap to make.
The pige- Ladybug, simply squawked at him, with anger, frustration, love, he could not tell. He guessed it must be hard, trying to convey emotions through the noise and expression range of a pigeon.
“Are you Ladybug?”
He asked, pondering the odds of something like that happening, but, with Hawkmoth and his Akumas, you never knew. Pigeonbug answered him by flying over to his desk, and picking at his computer with her beak.
“Oh you want me to turn it on so you can type?”
Well, now Adrien could claim to have seen what an unimpressed pigeon looked like. Fun.
He switched on his computer, not realising until it was already on, what exactly his desktop background was.
He supposed he wasn’t the only teenager with a collage of Ladybug’s pictures set as his desktop background. Though he was the only teenager who currently had ladybug in his bedroom in the form of a pigeon staring at his desktop background.
Even more fun.
Adrien now also knew what an embarrassed pigeon looked like, hiding her face behind one of her wings, Pigeonbug hopped over to the keyboard as Adrien opened the notepad.
“Akuma”
Adrien had guessed that, of course, why else would Ladybug now be a pigeon in his bedroom clicking away at his keyboard with her bear.
“I need your he-”
She was interrupted, startled no doubt as he sneezed loudly, and she flew away, up to his bookshelf.
He supposed her pigeon instincts must have kicked in, as she was startled by the loud noise.
“Anyway I can help, I will!” His offer was undercut slightly, by the following sneeze, startling Ladypigeon even more than before.
“Don’t worry Ladybug! I have a solution for the sneezing.”
He could feel pigeon’s eyes on his back, as he rummaged through his closet and came out with a gas mask.
As the pigeon cocked its head to the side, Adrien rushed to explain.
“Nino needed it as a prop for one of his upcoming film projects, I was just about to give it to him.”
The unimpressed pigeon face was replaced by an impressed pigeon face, as impressed as she could look, at least he thought so, as he put on his gas mask and Ladypigeon flew over to land on his shoulder.
“Onwards to adventure!” "Roo roo" The pigeon cheered.

Now, a masked blonde with a pigeon ran down the street, drawing weird glances from passersby, a man stopped to give them a look, before resuming his way, shaking his head, for sure, you would see wonders just walking the streets of paris.
“So, we have to the find the akuma first.” The blonde said, receiving a cooing sound, he felt comfortable as time went by, having her by his side.
“It feels weird to be the only converser,” he chuckled, as he took a turn to the right, sneaking out of his room wasn’t hard, as his father and Nathalie seemed to have vanished in thin air.
“How does it feel to be a pigeon? It must feel amazing, you fly and is small, could be really sneaky.” He kept going, and she didn’t stop cooing.
“I’m-” Adrien was interrupted by a loud grunting sound from the bird on his shoulder, as she used her wings to fly in front of him.
His eyes went wide, as he followed her to the source of her worry, another left turn had them face to face with the akuma, she grunted at it again. He laughed, cooing at the other pigeons, ordering them to attack her.
Alarmed, she flew behind Adrien’s back, hiding, and shivering a few times. The blonde took out his umbrella, shieling himself and his lady from the evil pigeons.
“Are you ok, Ladybug?” She blinked at him, before shivering again, cooing, and picking on the ground.
He blinked, watching her in surprise. “Are you hungry, Ladybug?”
The grabbed her attention, as she looked up at his expectedly, and shivered. He nodded to himself in determination, with his shield open, he ran the other way with Ladybug flying behind him.
“You almost act like a real pigeon, should I call you pigeonbug?” She retorted her neck to look at him, as they entered to an alleyway, walking to its end, reaching a bakery.
“Or not, as you like,”
He told her to wait outside, as he entered the bakery, going out with a bag of break crumps. Pigeonbug picked from the bag, her beak filled with the crunchy crumbs. The young teen also got out a bottle of water, opening it for her to gulp down some.
The masked pigeon shivered, before stilling, and then banging her head against the wall, softly. He quickly stopped her, holding her in his hands, rubbing her head.
“It’s ok, do you want to talk?” She cooed in response, he nodded thoughtfully, before standing up, with her in his hands, as she sat on his palms, getting into the school wasn’t hard, with the bird’s help, they unlocked the door from inside, she settled back on Adrien’s hands, as he took the stairs up to the library.
“There are computers here, you would write all you want to say, hatch a plan, and leave.” He told her quietly, as they slid through the doors, heading for one of the tables with needed device.
“I do not know what happpened there, I felt the deaire to survire take over me, pigeon small mind.” he read what she typed, even with her typos, he tried reading and comprehending what she meant seriously.
He nodded, and she kept going.
“Must find akima destroy, lvck charm cal, previous recording of LB.” She finished and looked up at him, cocking her head to the side.
“The plan is finding the akuma, then using your voice recording to activate your powers?” He felt confidence when she cooed happily, rubbing her head against his hand.
He put her back on his shoulder, as he felt something wet on the material of his white shirt. He blinked, speechlessly, staring at the pigeon.

The tiny ladybugs shot through paris, fixing the damage done by the akuma, lastly washing Pigeonbug with the magical cure, turning her back into her human form, she happily assessed herself, touching her arms and head, moving her feet in walking pose without any moving.
He took off the mask, as it had outdated its use, smiling brightly at the red heroine in front of him.
“Adrien.” She breathed, jumping at him, embracing his in a tight hug.
“Thank you.” She whispered in his ears, kissing his cheek, as he felt himself burning under her touch.
“It was no problem, Ladybug.” He rubbed his neck, smiling softly at her, “anything for you and the city.”
She took him again in her arms, tightly squeezing him, as he finally relaxed, wrapping his arms around her.
Beep.
She pulled back, sheepishly smiling. “I gotta go now, Adrien. You did amazing earlier, I wouldn’t have done it without you.”
“It was your brilliant plan afterall, Ladybug. Get home safe.” He waved at her as she threw her yo-yo away, smiling one last time before yelling “bug out!”
“Oh my gush, Plagg, today was sooooo crazyyy.” He said as he was left alone in his room.
