Work Text:
Sometimes, Stiles wonders whether she should intervene and help the pack. They look so desperate for someone powerful to come and sort out the mess that keeps happening in this godforsaken little town. But she never ends up choosing that path, keeps telling herself that the pack will never learn or grow if someone else comes and cleans the mess. This is one of the many responsibilities that comes with superpowers.
They might have not asked for it but fate has chosen this particular path for them.
The brunette sat in her seat looking out of the window, her teacher kept blabbering some nonsense but she kept wondering if Scott and the others can take on Deucalion and his Alpha Pack without outside help. She could help her friends. Sure, she provides them with mediocre information but where is the fun in that? Where is the drama? Someone has to be in a life threatening situation for her to finally intervene. Even after everything that happened last year with the Hales and the Argents and Derek’s Betas and the Kanima, Stiles still didn’t feel like the need to show her true self.
Maybe, her soul purpose here in Beacon Hills is to stay low and enjoy her sabbatical from her bloody diabolical family. Yeah, that’s the reason. Does that make her evil? Knowing that she has the power to stop bad things from happening but she chooses to stay away from it.
‘Thousands of people have come and gone from my life. I tend not to cry over it anymore,’ she thought to herself. Sure, if her family calls asking her to finally come home, she would drop everything and run back to them. After all, they’re the only people that matter to her, no matter what happens. She would let go all the deceptions, all the backstabbing, the lies and the cruel things they have done to each other and go back to them.
Because family is power. Family above all. Always and forever.
She wonders what they’re doing right now, are they okay? Are they happy? Or are they still asleep? Are they hiding? Will their father find them?
“Ms Stilinski, are you still with us?”
Her thoughts had slowly vanished when she noticed that the teacher was going around asking the students some questions about the equation written on the board.
“Ugh…yeah,” Stiles nodded looking at the board. “Ugh, mass cancels out so it’s gravity times sin.”
“Correct,” the teacher nodded, happy with her answer. Stiles again zoned out knowing that the teacher won’t ask her a question again for the rest of the lecture. Instead of looking out the window, Stiles’ gaze was now on her notebook, wondering if she should go back home after the Alpha Pack and the serial killer have been dealt with. But then she shook her head lightly, if she goes back home, her brother dearest might just stab her for leaving him. It’s best to stay away for the time being. Maybe even another decade, she could stay away from her family.
She would give in and return to them, just not now. She needs a little more freedom. But the time to leave Beacon Hills was getting closer now. The town is getting infested with several supernatural creatures, she can’t risk being around them. If anyone of them got a wind about who she is, what she is and what she can do, then things won’t look pretty. Maybe, she could try New York City or Vancouver. She is for sure done with small towns.
When the bell finally rang, signalling the end of the class and time for lunch break, Stiles started packing up her bag and followed, Scott, Allison and Isaac who were waiting for her outside. “Lydia and Jackson will meet us outside on the benches,” Allison had announced as they made their way towards the benches in the lawn of the school.
“Cool,” Scott nodded walking beside her. “Any news on the Alphas, from your father?”
“No,” Allison shook her head. “He’s still in talks with some of his old colleagues,” she sighed. “What about, Derek? What’s he planning?” She asked looking at Isaac.
“He’s not buying Deucalion’s orders, that’s for sure,” Isaac shrugged. “But he’s kind of busy training Cora, right now. She’s still quite unstable. And there’s Boyd too, he’s still healing from the time he was captured by the Alphas and you know…Erica.”
Of course, how could Stiles forget Erica Reyes. The blonde girl was given the bite from Derek last year. Lycanthropy surely did a number on her. From being an asthmatic girl who used to get panic attacks and being bullied at school, Erica had changed drastically in the past term. She had become quite the bad bitch. It’s a shame, her story ended so quickly. But crying over her death? Stiles just can’t seem to digest it. Erica really wasn’t a loyal wolf granted Derek isn’t exactly the best Alpha. She was planning on running away with Boyd to a different town. Maybe it’s just because Stiles still hasn’t forgiven the she wolf for attacking her and then proceeding to throw her into a dumpster.
“Stiles, any luck on the murders happening?” Scott asked turning around to look at her.
“Nah, man,” Stiles shook her head. “I’m still looking around and trying to cox my dad into telling me the exact details from the police reports.”
“Well, I guess all of us have to pick up our pace,” Scott sighed. “And the twins are really getting on my nerves.”
Right, the Alpha Twins from Deucalion’s Pack have recently joined their school. Stiles reckons it’s a way to keep a close tabs on the werewolves and to keep Derek on his toes. ‘Not a bad idea,’ Stiles thought, they had finally spotted Lydia and Jackson sitting together on the benches and made their towards them. Allison sat next to the couple while Scott, Isaac and Stiles sat opposite them.
“I suppose you guys have no updates too,” Jackson remarked the moment they all settled themselves in.
“Nope,” Isaac shook his head. “You haven’t reached anywhere too?”
“No,” Jackson scowled. The newly turned werewolf (from his Kanima debacle) hated the Alpha Twins for two major reasons. The obvious one being that they’re from rivalling packs and one of the twins had hit on Lydia within the first week of joining the school. “If I have to handle another day with those bastard twins, I think I’m gonna lose it.”
“You’re not the only one,” Allison said. “Scott’s also on the edge.”
“If we don’t make a move now, they’re gonna kill us,” Scott defended himself. “And I have no idea what Derek is up to. It’s clear that we don’t get along and have different ideas as to how to go forward with this issue.”
“And the random murders aren’t helping either,” Isaac added.
“It could be serial killer,” Lydia said leaning forward.
“I don’t think they’re random nor is it a serial killer,” Stiles said, which earned her the curious gaze of her friends. “The three people who died till now where all virgins.”
“What makes you say that?” Scott asked.
“I knew Heather,” Stiles explained. “She was trying to lose her virginity back at that house party and was getting…getting it on with some guy. The couple found in the Preserve were also trying to lose it but obviously failed because the killer or whatever it is got to them before.”
“Well, you better watch your back now, Stilinski,” Jackson snickered. Making a joke on Stiles’ supposed virginity. If only they knew the truth.
“Jackson,” Lydia chided and looked back at Stiles. “Who do you think the killer is then?”
“Definitely some supernatural creature, I suppose,” Stiles shrugged. “I mean how else could someone go around and kill three people in one night? Maybe a witch, who knows?”
“Really witches?” Isaac asked, raising his eyebrow. “In this day and age?”
“You’re a werewolf, so is Scott,” Stiles deadpanned. “Jackson was a lizard up until a few months ago. Allison is a huntress and Lydia…,” Stiles slowed down looking at the strawberry blonde girl. “Well, she’s something. Peter used her and Derek to bring himself back to life. And you’re having issues in believing witches?”
“She’s right though,” Allison nodded. “Gerard’s Bestiary does have information on witches. Maybe we can use to identify the monster.”
“Then again, what’s their motive? Why kill innocent people?” Scott frowned.
“I don’t know,” Stiles shrugged. “Maybe it wants to gain more power. Maybe they’re sadist and like watching chaos. Could be anything.”
“Yeah, let’s not get carried away with that,” Jackson interrupted. “I think the Alpha Pack is the bigger threat right now. We should deal with one problem at a time.”
“We would but our issues keep pilling up,” Isaac sighed, hands resting on the table. “It’s like this town is a beacon for all supernatural beings.”
‘It is,’ Stiles wanted to yell but kept it to herself.
The rest of the lunch break was uneventful, they just kept talking about how they could defeat the Alpha Pack, trying to come up with strategies and just regular school life, with homework and tests coming up in the upcoming weeks. Stiles made a mental note to herself that she won’t join a school or a college when she finally leaves Beacon Hills.
Things seemed to go pretty good for the rest of the day. The Twins hadn’t shown up for the rest of the classes after lunch break which made the werewolves in her friend circle stay calm. There weren’t any birds flying into their class, things were normal for starters. But it only lasted till class for the day got over. The moment she walked out of the school, walking towards the parking lot, that was when she smelled it. That familiar scent. Something she hadn’t smelt in decades.
Her head quickly snapped up, eyes looking around, searching for the person emitting it. Her friends had kept walking ahead but Stiles had already stoped, now staring at the person. She never expected to see him here. So, out of the blue. Something serious must have happened for him to be here. But she couldn’t bother with the negative thoughts right now. The only thing that mattered was that he was here, waiting for her near her jeep.
But there he stood, in all his 6’2 glory, wearing a blue shirt with a pair of black jeans and shoes. His brown hair styled well, alive as ever.
Stiles ran towards the man, obviously in her human speed and jumped into his open arms. Tears had started to whelm up in her eyes. He was finally here, finally free from his sleep. Her twin brother.
Kol.
“Someone’s very excited,” Kol chuckled as he hugged her back. “Did you miss me, dear sister?”
“Of course, I did,” Stiles laughed, punching him lightly on the shoulder. “What happened How did-Nik, he wouldn’t have let you out.”
“It’s a long story,” Kol sighed pulling away. “But we’re all back, and for good. I’ll tell you on the way back home.”
“All?” Stiles wondered. “Even Finn?”
“Yes, him too,” Kol nodded.
“How did you find me?” Stiles asked. “I was pretty well cloaked and I tired to stay out of trouble as much as I could. I even pretended to be human.”
“Mother, did a locator spell and asked me get you back,” Kol shrugged. “Knowing that I’m your favourite sibling.”
“Wait…mother?” Stiles frowned.
“Yes, our mother is back too,” he said after a while. “And Nik finally killed our father,” he said nonchalantly. Typical Kol, giving out important information like it wasn’t a big deal.
“What?” Stiles gawked. “How? What the hell was happening in that godforsaken town? I knew that Nik was there for a while now, trying to create his little army but what in the bloody hell?” She asked finally after decades, switching back to her natural accent. Their mother was back from the dead and Nik finally killed the man who was hunting them for all their lives. Does this mean she could finally go back? And be with her family?
“And I will tell you all of that later cause we have some eavesdroppers,” he leaned down and whispered the last part. Stiles turned around to see her friends were staring at them. She wonders how of much of her conversation with Kol did they hear.
She looked back at Kol and sighed, “Give me until tonight, I will finish up my business here in Beacon Hills and we can finally go back home then.” To say that Stiles was over the moon was an understatement. She was fucking ecstatic, her family finally has a chance of being together without any lies, deceits and backstabbing. Their father was dead and mother was finally back. All of them together.
“Relax,” Kol chuckled. “We can leave tomorrow in the morning. But it is imperative that we do. Mother is hosting a ball on Friday. She wants us all there in pristine condition and she is looking forward to seeing you again.”
Stiles smiled like a child, she too was excited to see her entire family back again.
“I’ll pick you up from the Sheriff’s house in the morning and then we can make our way back home,” Kol said. “Till then, you sort whatever you have to with your wolves,” he smirked.
Stiles scoffed, “I think it’s finally time to intervene.”

Scott and others were standing next to Allison’s car when Isaac finally noticed that Stiles, who was walking with them was missing all of a sudden. “Hey, where’s Stiles?” He asked looking around for the spastic human of their group.
Scott, who has always been protective of his best friend immediately turned around searching for her. He followed her scent and spotted her hugging a tall man with brown hair and brownish-green eyes.
“Who is that?” Allison asked, looking at Scott. She has never seen that man around. Maybe he was Stiles’ family or a secret boyfriend. She reckons that Scott would know the unknown man, considering that Stiles tells him everything.
“I don’t know,” Scott shook his head. “She has never mentioned anyone who looks like that. And that’s definitely not her family member. She doesn’t have any cousins or siblings.”
“Is that Stilinski’s boyfriend?” Jackson snickered. “No wonder she wasn’t a target for the serial killer.”
“So, you do believe her theory?” Isaac asked sarcastically.
“Oh, shut up,” Jackson scoffed.
“Can you hear what they’re saying?” Lydia asked looking at the three boys. Scott, Isaac and Jackson focused on their hearing skills and tried to eavesdrop on their conversation but all they could hear was some words like, ‘Nik’, ‘mother’, ‘father’ and ‘family’.
“I think they’re family,” Scott said after a while. “I heard the word family in their conversation.”
“But that guy sounded British,” Jackson countered. “Stiles is American. That’s definitely not family then and you said that she doesn’t have cousins.”
“So, you’re telling me that Stiles has been hiding her hot British friend or boyfriend from us?” Lydia asked, sarcasm dripping from her tone.
“I don’t know,” Isaac shrugged leaning back on Allison’s car. “Don’t you guys think they look a little alike?” The group again looked at them to see the similarity. But other than the brown hair, and brown eyes and pale skin, they couldn’t see any other similarities.
“Heads up, she’s coming back,” Allison whispered.
“Hey, guys, sorry for the wait up,” Stiles said happily and stood next to Isaac. She knew what they were about to ask her, it was so obvious and clearly written on their faces as they stared at her.
Lydia who’s curiosity was on the edge of the cliff, smirked and asked, “So, Stiles,” she drawled. “Who was that man? And why didn’t you introduce him to us?” Looking at Kol’s retreating figure.
Stiles turned around to see Kol driving off in his expensive SUV. She chuckled before answering, “That was Kol. He’s my family.”
“You don’t have any siblings or cousins,” Scott pointed out. “And you’ve never told me about a Kol.” Scott wouldn’t admit it, but he is a little disappointed that Stiles didn’t tell him about a Kol figure in her life.
“Just tell us the truth, Stilinski,” Jackson groaned. “So, that we can be done with this conversation. Is he your boyfriend?”
“What? No!” Stiles scowled, appalled at even the idea of dating her twin brother. But she can’t really blame her friends, they don’t know anything about her. “Kol’s just family.”
“What kind of family?” Lydia pried. Stiles stared at her confused but the question. But Allison then chipped in, “What she means is, is he your fiancé? Or future fiancé?”
“What?” Stiles frowned. This conversation is so wrong and on so many levels. Kol could never hear about this. Neither could Rebekah. Stiles won’t hear the end of it then. “Fiancé? I’m seventeen years old? I don’t think underage people get engaged in the 21st century.”
“What? People do get betrothed, even in this day and age,” Isaac answered, a smirk on his lips. Oh, Stiles really wants to punch it away from his face. She still hasn’t decided if she wants to do it with her fists or lips.
She chooses neither and raised her hands up in defence, “I don’t know what else to tell you,” she sighed. “Kol is just family, long distance one. I am not marrying him because that would be incest.”
“Jamie and Cerci Lannister have an incest relationship,” Isaac countered.
“First of all that’s fictional and ew,” Stiles groaned. “Can we please change the topic now?”
“Alright what was he doing here? What did you guys talk about?” Scott asked.
“Jeez, Scott,” Stiles frowned and rolled her eyes. “I was hoping for a little more change in topic? Why don’t we talk about the more important things?”
Isaac doesn’t know why but he likes seeing Stiles getting all riled up. She looks cute when she’s arguing. His wolf would agree with that too. He felt his phone buzz in his jeans’ back pocket, the blonde fetched it out and saw a text from Derek. Isaac had to double check the message to see if he read it right. He then looked at Jackson who also received the message and looked up to see Isaac’s gaze.
‘We’re ending the fight with the Deucalion, tonight.’ That was the message from Derek. How reckless could he be? He wanted them to ambush Deucalion? Is that even possible? Could they win against the self proclaimed, Demon Wolf?
“What’s going on?” Stiles looking between Isaac and Jackson. “What’s with the sour expression?” The change of expression on Isaac and Jackson’s face hadn’t gone unnoticed by her hawk eyes.
Isaac showed the message he received to Scott and Stiles while Jackson showed his to Lydia and Allison.
“You’re joking, right?” Allison scoffed, looking up from Jackson’s phone. “He has to be either joking or he has officially lost it.”
“I’m afraid not,” Jackson shook his head.
“You guys aren’t going through with this are you?” Stiles asked. This was a ridiculous plan. There was no way that they could come out victorious from this. One of them is bound to die.
“Can’t help it,” Isaac sighed, putting his phone back in his pocket. “Derek’s our Alpha, we do what he says.”
“I’m sorry, Lyds,” Jackson said, standing up straight. He then looked at Allison, “You wouldn’t mind dropping her home, would you?”
“No, no, I’ll do it,” Allison nodded. “But you can’t possibly say yes to this plan. We don’t have any idea about the Alphas, what kind of power do they have and to what extent,” she implored, looking at Scott and Stiles to back her up.
“She’s right,” Scott added. “You guys are rushing to your deaths.”
“Deucalion’s asked for a meeting with Derek,” Jackson explained. “If all of us ambush him, we can definitely win.”
‘Are they that stupid?’ Stiles wondered mentally. ‘Do they really think that Deucalion wouldn’t be prepared for all sorts of problems? Do they think that he won’t have contingencies? Or that he would keep his pack members stationed nearby? He’s the Demon Wolf for goodness sake!’
“Jackson-“ Lydia tried knocking some sense into him.
“I’m sorry, Lyds,” Jackson sighed, but his tone was firm. “But we’re not continuing this conversation anymore. Go home and stay inside, I’ll come to after we defeat the old man.” He started walking towards his car, Isaac following behind making their toward’s Derek’s loft.
“Tell me you’re going to Derek’s loft and knocking some sense into him?” Stiles asked looking at Scott who was watching the other Betas’ drive off.
“I am,” he nodded and dashed off towards his dirt bike. He cannot let Derek lead his friends towards death.
Stiles turned around to look at Allison, it didn’t a take genius to know that Allison will follow Scott and would be present at the fight. She didn’t say anything and bid goodbye to the girls. This battle has nothing to do with her because in a couple of hours she would be leaving this town behind. She just has to sort things out with her fake father.
>>>
Stiles was waiting for Noah, the man whom she had compelled to be her father, come home from work. It is time for him to forget about her and lead his life they way it used to be. While waiting for Noah to show up, Stiles got bored and sat down on the couch, her bags were already packed and kept in her jeep. She wondered if she should help her so called friends. If she should show up wherever the fight was going to take place and just put an end to it in an instant.
But intervening would mean that she would have to indulge in her secret. The secret about her family. And that would be one long conversation. She doesn’t think she has the patience to go through with that. But she also couldn’t see Isaac die because of Derek’s foolish decision. She won’t ever admit it out loudly but she hates Derek Hale’s guts only because he got to Isaac before she could.
She doesn’t know why, but there is something about Isaac that makes her not want to kill him even if he’s been a total arse to her, granted he doesn’t know Stiles’ true personality. Maybe it is because he’s just as sarcastic as her and she liked the little banter that they keep having on a daily basis. Makes her feel like a teenager again. If only she hadn’t waited as long as she did, if only she had saved him when she first found out about his abusive father. If only she had sired him, they could have, maybe lived an eternity together. The last part is only possible if Nik allows it.
She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Noah’s car pull up on the porch. She sat up straight and waited for him to come into the living room. Her mind had already been made up when Kol had arrived earlier today. Tonight was going to be her last night in Beacon Hills.
“Hey, kid,” Noah greeted when he saw his daughter sitting on the couch.
“Hello, father,” Stiles greeted back. “Please have a seat. There is something we need to discuss.”
Noah was surprised by her sudden change in demeanour but nevertheless sat on the couch opposite her. “What is it, Stiles? You sound very…odd.”
“Look in my eyes,” Stiles ordered firmly. When Noah looked into her eyes, it was like he went in a trance. Stiles’r brown eyes had dilated and she continued, “I’m forever grateful for everything you’ve done for me. But the time has come for me to go back to my real family, it’s time for me to go back home. You will forget about ever having a daughter. You never knew a Stiles Stilinski, you and your wife never had a child. You will continue living your life as a happy man.”
“I never knew a Stiles Stilinski, my wife and I never had a child, I will continue living my life as a happy man,” Noah said bluntly.
“Good, now go to your room and sleep and wake up tomorrow morning at 8,” she said and compelled the man into following her order. ‘I really am sorry, sir,’ Stiles thought but didn’t speak it out loud. ‘The three years that I knew were good.’
Now that the Noah chapter was closed, Stiles’ next focus was on finding the werewolves and sorting out that issue once and for all. She quickly made her way outside and sat in her jeep, she checked her watch, it was almost 11pm, they must have either reached the destination that Deucalion mentioned to Derek or were already there.
She rolled her window down, trying to listen to their heartbeats or get a whiff of the wolves while driving around town. Where the fuck could they be? It can’t be a crowded place, Deucalion wouldn’t call them there. It has to be an abandoned place. She must have driven around for nearly half an hour before she heard the familiar heartbeat of Scott McCall. Following the sound, Stiles arrived at an abandoned shopping mall just a few miles outside the town. She spotted Derek’s and Jackson’s car parked outside and Scott’s dirt bike.
Stiles got off the car and muttered a, “Let’s finish this,” before she sneaked in. The situation had already escalated. Deucalion was standing on the steps off the escalator ideally watching his Alphas beat the shit out of the betas. Derek and Cora were busy fighting female Alpha, while Boyd and Jackson were trying to take on the male Alpha who was built like an MMA fighter. She looked around and saw Scott and Isaac fight the twins (who had surprisingly joined their body and became one huge alpha).
The battle didn’t last long after that. The female Alpha had Cora pinned under her feet while the MMA fighter Alpha had both Jackson and Boyd pinned under his hands. The twins too had defeated Isaac and Scott. They were asking for Derek to make a choice, it was either to save Cora or save Boyd and Jackson.
Stiles sighed heavily, pitying the weak Beacon Hills pack. They would never be able to survive this. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Allison readying up her bow and arrow, trying to save her friends.
She quickly ran up to her and grabbed her hand, Allison flinched hard as she didn’t expect anyone to have followed her, “Stiles-“
“Shush, love,” Stiles smirked, her British accent falling out naturally. “I’ll handle it from here,” she said and jumped down. Everything that happened after was invisible to a human eye. In fact it was invisible even in the eyes of the werewolves. Stiles had jumped down from the first floor and within a few seconds pushed the female, the MMA fighter and the twins away from the betas.
“Enough,” she roared, throwing away the alphas into the weak walls of the abandoned mall. She stood up straight and looked at the Demon Wolf, “Come down here, old man.”
Deucalion was shocked at the sheer strength the new girl had shown and possessed, but he didn’t let it falter his expression or voice. “And who are you?” He asked, not moving from his spot.
“Stiles!” Scott yelled, trying to get up but he was a hard time doing that since the twins had scratched him pretty badly on the torso. Scott had coughed out some blood, as he looked at his best friend trying to talk to Deucalion. “What-what are you doing here?”
“Come down here, wolf-y and I won’t kill you,” Stiles smirked and motioned the British man to come down with her two fingers.
“Stiles! Get the fuck out of here!” Derek yelled at her but it obviously went unheard.
“Why don’t you answer me first, little one,” Deucalion stalled, cocking his head to the side.
Before Stiles could quip at him, the MMA fighter alpha seemed to have recovered from the attack and ran towards Stiles with the intent to kill. Again things happened so fast, Stiles quickly turned around, just in time and slapped the alpha so hard which lead to his head being ripped off and falling on to the floor.
There was a silence that enveloped the mall, everyone was too stunned to speak. Derek stood behind Stiles, shellshocked as to the scene that happened in front of his eyes. Cora who had stood up quickly when the female Alpha had been pushed away from her was also standing next to Derek and took a deep intake of breath. The other betas were had their eyes popping out. Boyd had his hands around his neck trying to soothe the pain while Scott and Jackson’s eyes were about to pop out their sockets and Isaac muttered a low “What the fuck?” Under his breath.
The female Alpha had screamed in agony knowing that her pack member was gone forever. While the twins growled over the death of the MMA fighter. The female Alpha had stood up and was about to attack Stiles too but stopped when Stiles glared at her, “Stay down.”
The brunette then turned to look up at Deucalion, “How about now? Coming down? Or should I come up?”
Deucalion took a gulp and made his down the elevator, “What are you?” He asked when he stood a good few feet away from her.
“I’m an Original, darling, didn’t you get it by now?” Stiles chuckled pulling out a handkerchief from her jeans pocket and cleaning her hands of the dead alpha’s blood.
“That’s impossible,” Deucalion muttered and shook his head slightly. He was flabbergasted. He didn’t assume an Original would be in a town like Beacon Hills. Fuck, he didn’t even believe in the Originals. He thought they were just myths created to scare witches and werewolves or any other supernatural creature.
“You don’t believe me?” Stiles asked the smirk still visible on her face. “Well, how about I show you then,” she chuckled and closed her eyes for a second before opening them. Gone were those whisky brown eyes, instead now her eyes were completely black, the veins under her eyes were visible too. Her fangs come out too as she hissed at the Alpha. No one in the area uttered a word.
“Which one of them are you?” Deucalion asked after a few moments. There was no doubt that the girl in front of him was an Original.
“Well, I think the most popular one would be, the Psychotic Ripper,” Stiles thought, her arms crossed across her chest. “But you can always call me, Mieczyslawa Mikaelson, the Original Vampire,” she shrugged nonchalantly. “Now, how about we get down to business,” she said clapping her hands. “I have no interest in killing you, or anyone else here,” she said and noticed Deucalion’s eyes move down towards the dead alpha. “He attacked me, so I killed him,” she added and pointed at the dead alpha.
“Anyway,” Stiles continued. “I won’t kill any of you here, if you pack it up and leave the town. You can go to any other town and recruit your Alphas from there. But you will leave by sunrise.”
“Why should we-“ the female Alpha growled but was immediately interrupted by Deucalion.
“Kali!” He snapped. “Stay quiet,” he ordered and looked back at Stiles. “You have yourself a deal, Ms Mikaelson.”
“Fantastic,” Stiles smirked. “Sunrise, okay?”
Deucalion nodded and motioned for the twins and female alpha to follow him. They were leaving this town for good now.
Stiles let her eyes turn back to normal and turned around to see the stunned werewolves and the huntress on the floor above. “Well,” she shrugged, arms open slightly. “I guess it’s story time. So, get up and gather around everyone. I don’t have all night, got places to be.” None of them moved, they were still busy staring at her, still trying to process everything that happened. “Alright, you can stand where you are and I can start my story.”
“Stiles,” Scott whispered as he stood on his knees. “What the hell was that?”
“What the fuck are you?” Jackson asked a second later.
“You’re a Vampire?” Derek scowled.
“She’s an Original Vampire,” Cora corrected.
“What the hell is an Original?” Isaac muttered.
“Originals are the first vampires to have ever been created,” Stiles explained looking at Isaac. “My name is Mieczyslawa Mikaelson. I am an Original Vampire and I’m over a thousand years old. That answer all your questions?”
“‘An Original’?” Boyd asked, he still hand’t gotten up from the ground.
Stiles looked down at him with a grin, “You’re very observant, young Vernon,” she said and looked up at the rest. “It’s true, I’m not the only Original. My siblings are also like me.”
“So, that man, the one you were talking to,” Allison asked as she finally came down from the floor above and helped Scott stand up on his feet. “Earlier at school…he was your sibling?”
“That is correct, Allison,” Stiles nodded. “That was my twin brother, Kol Mikaelson.”
“Why didn’t you tell us about this?” Jackson huffed, as he stood up straight now.
“Can you just tell us everything…from like the beginning?” Isaac asked. He was so glad the fight was over and the Alpha decided to leave them alone. But now, Stiles has dropped this major bomb of information on them. A fucking vampire? Isaac’s brain wasn’t able to function well enough, but he has to admit, the brunette looked really attractive now.
“So, we’re doing the conversation here?” Stiles asked and looked around the betas.
“I don’t think we can wait till we reach the loft,” Cora sighed.
“Alright then,” Stiles nodded. “As you lot already know my name, I was born in the late 900 AD, my father was a Viking warrior and my mother was a witch. We were seven siblings, Finn, Elijah, Niklaus, Kol, Rebekah, Henrik and myself. Kol is my twin brother. We were a happy family, until one day my brothers Niklaus and Henrik went to see the werewolves from our neighbouring village, they wanted to see them transform on a full moon,” she recalled. “Niklaus was the only one who returned alive.”
“Our parents were devastated,” she continued. “My father forced our mother to make us so strong that we could not be killed. He wanted to make us immortal. My mother, of course, followed through his command and with her witch rituals and some other things, she made us drink blood and after which our father killed us and then we came back to life. As vampires, the strengths and the immortality came with weakness too, our bloodlust was so high, I mean we were just so young and naive, we didn’t have any control over it. I had a particularly hard time dealing with the bloodlust. We slaughtered hundreds of villages.”
“When we first made our kill,” Stiles said, crossing her arms, she wasn’t looking at any of the wolves. She was just in her own thoughts. “Niklaus had it the worst. He made his first kill on a full moon night, that was also the night we found out that, Niklaus was our half-brother. Yes,” Stiles nodded. “Our mother was unfaithful during her marriage and she had bedded a werewolf from our neighbouring village. Father, in a pit of rage slaughtered the entire werewolf pack and forced mother into trapping Nik’s werewolf side. She put a curse on him which he’s been trying to break ever since. Because of our father’s decision, the war between Vampires and Werewolves had begun.”
“Nik, then in his rage, killed our mother and blamed it on our father,” Stiles said, shaking her head slightly. “We stood by, Nik and defied our father’s orders. Ever since then, father has been hunting us, we kept fleeing from village to village, city to city.”
“How did you get separated from them?” Allison asked warily.
“I once had a lover back in the 17th century,” Stiles smiled, thinking about Harold, her first ever serious lover. “We were going to runaway and get married but Nik found about our plans and murdered my lover.”
“Quite a brother, he is,” Cora scoffed.
“That he is,” Stiles nodded. “Nik was very overprotective, he wanted us to stay together forever. I was so mad at him when he took my lover from me. We had a huge fight, he won, obviously and then dagger-ed me, making me fall asleep. The next time I woke up, it was 1902, my rage about the incident hadn’t quipped down, but I slowly forgave him. It wasn’t the first time he has killed any of our lovers. A decade later I found out, that he lied to us about mother’s death but I was afraid of confronting him, knowing that he would put me to sleep again, so I ran. And I’ve been on the run ever since.”
“Why didn’t you tell us? You could have told us after we became werewolves?” Scott muttered, he felt kind of betrayed. Stiles, his best friend wasn’t who he always thought she was. She had a whole different life, that he knew nothing about. “We could have saved a lot more lives?”
“I couldn’t risk my father knowing my whereabouts,” the vampire shook her head. “And with the Gerard and Kate Argent around last year, it was best if I continued pretending to be a human.”
“When did you first arrive to Beacon Hills?” Derek asked, processing all the information. He remembers his mother telling him stories about the Originals. He never believed any of it though. And now to see that one of them was standing right in front go him. That skinny-defenceless Stiles, is actually an Original.
“Three years ago,” she answered. She hated Derek for asking this question.
“But then I have memories about us, when we were children,” Scott argued. “How can that be?”
Stiles sighed and looked at Scott, “I compelled you, into thinking that I’m your best friend. Just the way I compelled the Sheriff into thinking that I am his daughter.”
“Compelled?” Boyd asked.
“Mind compulsion,” Stiles elaborated. “I gave you fake memories and made you believe it. It’s like mind control.”
Scott now looked like he was betrayed and someone had just ran over a puppy. He was hurt, so every memory he has of Stiles from his childhood was fake. He wanted to yell and scream but he took a deep breath and calmed himself.
“You said that Kol was your brother,” Allison recalled. “What is he doing here?”
“Niklaus, finally killed our father,” Stiles said in a proud tone. “Our mother has come back from the dead, Finn and Kol have been un-dagger-ed. Mother, has personally asked for me to return. Our family is whole again. It is time for me to go home now.”
“You’re leaving?” Isaac asked, head snapping up to see Stiles in her eyes.
“I am,” Stiles nodded. “I don’t have the need to stay hidden any longer,” she shrugged.
“You’re going back to your family, to your brother, after everything he’s done to you?” Jackson asked, looking a little incredulous.
“My family is full of lies, betrayal and deceits,” Stiles explained. “But that doesn’t mean that I will ever stop loving them. At the end of the day, I will always go back to them. Even if I ran away from them for decades. Family above all. Always and forever.”
There was an awkward silence after that but Stiles quickly broke it, “Anyway, now that you all know my story, I’m going to go back to brother’s place and then I am off.”
“Wait, I still have so many questions,” Isaac called out.
Stiles sighed and rolled her eyes, looking at the werewolf, “Such as?”
“Why do they call you the Psychotic Ripper? If your brother does break the curse, what does that make him?” Isaac asked.
“My brother would be a Hybrid, if he’s successful in breaking the curse,” Stiles replied. “As for me, they called me that because I couldn’t control my bloodlust, once I tasted human blood, I couldn’t stop until I drained the human dry. It took years to control it.”
“How many people have you killed?” Allison asked.
“I’m a 1000 year old being, you think I keep a count?” Stiles sarcastically replied.
“So, that’s it? You’re leaving us, now?” Scott snapped, a bit of venom in his voice. He had every right to be mad.
“Thousands of people have come and gone from life, I tend not to cry over it,” Stiles replied cooly. “You shouldn’t either. You're welcome, by the way, I have gotten rid of the Alphas for you and now I trust you people to sort out the serial killer case too. And you’re free to pass on this story to Peter and Lydia. I’m sure you don’t want them to be out of loop.”
Stiles had turned around and was about to make her way out when she decided to fuck it and give her favourite werewolf a choice. She walked over to Isaac who was now standing straight. “Once, you graduate or if you’re just generally bored with the small town life, let me know. I’ll let you know my whereabouts.”
Isaac didn’t know what to say, he didn’t expect Stiles to…what is this? Hit on him, just when she’s about to leave. “Why now?” He whispered.
“You know, it’s a shame,” Stiles smiled. “I let Derek get to you before I could. I had the chance but I never took it. I think that decision to not save you from your wretched father will go down in my regrets journal.”
Isaac nodded, before muttering, “Thanks, I’ll take you up on this offer, sometime in the future.”
Stiles nodded, “I hope our paths cross again,” she winked and then vanished from their sights.
‘Vampire speed,’ Isaac thought to himself. But he didn’t lie back then. He will definitely take her up on that offer.

“Are you ready?” Kol asked, as they loaded the last of Stiles’s suitcases in his SUV.
“Yup,” Stiles nodded. “I’m excited to see everyone. Elijah, Rebekah, Niklaus even after everything he’s done to me and Finn, our annoying elder brother.”
Kol scoffed playfully as he started the engine and the two of them made their way out of town. Leaving Beacon Hills behind forever.
“So, tell me everything from the beginning,” Stiles chuckled. “What’s been going on in Mystic Falls.”
