“You… want it?” he asked, holding his hand out toward Katherine. She swallowed stiffly and looked up at his eyes again, he just smiled “It’s alright, not like I need it.” The hand that took his was calloused but gentle as they brought the tiny ruby drops up to their mouth. Their mouth was far warmer than the skin contacting his own, wet tongue sliding over where the cut had been, collecting the droplets like they were liquid gold and his finger sliding out from pale lips with a light pop.
Dante wasn’t entirely sure how he’d gotten himself here, but at this point, with his fingers tangled in hair and nails clawing at his back and those red, red eyes staring him down… well he wasn’t going to complain. Better to sit back and enjoy the ride
