Chapter Text
He knew it was a mistake. He knew it when he met her and when they started getting closer, but he didn’t stop. He didn’t care. She was too beautiful to stop, too hot, too perfect. She got him too much to turn away, so he didn't.
"Yuki, I can't… we shouldn't…", he had tried in one lonely moment of conscience, panting and their clothes already strewn across the floor. "Why shouldn't we?", she had asked in her sweet voice, her soft touch driving him wild. He swallowed, struggling to form a single coherent thought, let alone sentence. “The…commission…”, whatever the rest of the sentence was, it was stopped by her addicting lips on his. “They can’t forbid everything…What are they gonna do, castrate you? Come on, a little fun won’t hurt. You won’t be of any use if you’re all tensed up like this.”
And with that, she broke him, connecting their lips, quickly followed by their bodies. The rush, ecstasy and raw love between the young heroes quickly became addicting, not stopping after one time of ‘a little fun’.
They even managed to hide their secret relationship, until…
“Keigo, I…I’m pregnant.”
*About 7 years later*
The taps of little feet could be heard through the otherwise silent flat. It was about five in the morning, after all.
The little girl’s still messy hair was flying around and her wings were flapping with excitement as she made her way into her father’s bedroom. Said father still enjoyed his sleep, well deserved after a whole night of work. “Daddy, daddy!”, she exclaimed in her excited, squeaky voice as she slowly opened the door. Her excited smile turned into a frown, seeing her father still asleep. But as she got closer, she noticed some of his feathers twitching, an indicator for him waking up. “Daddy?”, she tried one more time, and seeing his sleeping form stir made her golden eyes light up once again.
Finally, after shifting more towards the edge of the bed, his eyes opened slowly, accompanied by a low groan. “Maki?”, he asked as he sat up straight, stretching out his wings. A sight she loved, hoping hers would be equally impressive and big one day. At the moment, they were rather small, but strong enough for flying at least a few seconds. They also weren’t bright red like her father’s, but a dusty gray, a contrast to her bright golden eyes.
“What’s got you up so early, my little pigeon?”, he asked as he opened his arms for her to crawl in, which she did immediately. “I’m starting school today! I’m a big girl now!”, she exclaimed, the excitement in her voice being Keigo’s favorite sound in the whole world. He let out a still raspy chuckle. “That’s right, pigeon. And I’m sure you’ll do great. But”, he took a look at his alarm clock, groaning internally, “we still have some time before you have to get up. Why don’t you try going back to sleep?”, he asked, knowing it was hopeless.
As expected, the girl shook her head violently, causing her brown hair to fly in all directions. “It won’t work. I’m way too excited to sleep.” Her father let out a sigh. He knew there was no way calming her down once she was hyped up, so he might as well get up and start his day now.
The next hour, spent with showering, teeth brushing and coffee making, was accompanied by as many questions as the six year old could muster: ‘You think they’ll like me?’, ‘What if they stare at my wings?’, ‘I wonder what my teacher is like, do you know them?’As always, he tried to answer them the best he could, chuckling at his daughter’s curiosity.
Once she had eaten her breakfast, put on her favorite blue dress and had at least calmed down a little bit, the doorbell rang. Keigo couldn’t deny the relief he felt, knowing she would be taken to school by people they trusted, who knew how to deal with this secret, this situation. She would be taken care of, that was for sure, the question was if she would behave herself. He loved her more than his own life and she was his little angel, but she sure could be a handful, especially for one person. He knew he shouldn’t whine, since he got all the help he could get. There were only a few pro heroes, and the Commission, who knew about her, which was good. He wondered how long it would stay that way.
