Nejire woke up with a smile on her face as she smelled food. She heard soft singing and knew Tamaki was awake. She sat there for a moment before the bedroom door opened to reveal sweet Tamaki all comfortable and holding a tray of breakfast. Nejire could see the tray had french toast, bacon, eggs, sausage, two mugs, and a teapot. She couldn't tell if there was coffee or tea but she didn't care.
She looked at him, seeing fully that her sweet Tama had also brought some painkillers. She had complained of a headache the night before, which was still killing her. She held a hand to him, letting him place the meds in her hand. She took them and the glass of water by the bed, drinking it calmly.
"I have a mission, I can't stay in bed all day. Okay?" She spoke, frowning at the soft slump of his shoulders. "I know you want me to stay in bed with you and just watch the rest of Attack on Titan, but I have to go. Okay? I can't keep requesting days off. Our vacation is next week remember? And we can go out and do stuff all of those days. Understood, my love?"
He nodded and she got up, kissing his lips before entering the closet. She got her hero costume out and put it on, smiling as she saw it was a bit loose on her. She'd gained a bit of weight after their little Rumina was born. Speaking of the 6-month-old, Rumina started to cry. So she went to the nursery and smiled as she saw Tamaki holding her. "She wants mama." He spoke, turning to her and handing over the tiny girl. She held Rumina while Tamaki and she had breakfast, making Rumina a bottle and helping Tamaki feed her before rushing off for her mission.
A WEEK LATER
Nejire returned home around 4 am and made sure to take off her muddy shoes at the door. She had planned to come in, shower, eat something, have a cup of tea, and then get in bed with her husband. But she was met with her husband asleep on the couch and their sweet daughter asleep on his chest, a pacifier on the floor that must've been hers. She went over and softly sighed before rushing to shower to care for her daughter and husband.
She got into the shower and sighed against the hot water as it hit strained muscles and bruises that were starting to heal only hours ago. She heard footsteps as she realized she'd woken her husband. She turned to the door and saw her husband holding their sleeping child. She poked her head out of the shower and smiled as he kissed her. "Let me shower first and then we can cuddle and all that." He nodded and left the room.
Nejire assured herself she was clean enough before getting her robe and putting it on. She put her underwear and bra on first, of course, and headed to find her husband. She found him in the kitchen without Rumina. "Is she..?"
"In her crib, resting. I needed to let her sleep for a bit. She's been up for the past 5 hours. She manages to sleep so much."
"Love when did you..?"
"About an hour ago maybe?" he shrugged. "Anything for Rumi." God Tamaki loved Rumina. He treated the women in life like they were goddesses but, as far as Tamaki cared, they were.
"Let's eat and have some tea and we can go to bed yeah?" She smiled as he nodded and cuddled into her side while she made their tea and told him about her mission, well what she could tell him about it. They had tea and a snack before going to the bed and laying down in there. "Goodnight love."
"Goodnight."
This was just a part of their life as the Amajiki family.
