"Good sir, here is your order!" with a grin as she handed him his usual. Ajax was frozen in shock; confused, ocean bore deep within her jade hues, searching if it was some kind of joke. He did not even place his order yet? Contradicting to think that he's their daily, he barely even comes; too far from his address for weekdays, he sure is up to pay a visit here during weekends, be it saturday or sunday. The ginger haired stood there for a solid minute before slowly extending his coated arm out to receive his Latte Macchiato with a small ceramic plate of a sliced Matcha cake.
There sat a calm fellow near the window— his favorite spot —nose buried on the novel he is reading with a cup of Affogato sitting on the table and a vacant seat infront of his still figure, clearly minding his own business. All seats are occupied except his that made him wonder but did not give too much thought, albeit hesitant to do so. He exhausted a faint sigh before turning his heels to face the cashier once again, "Pity that you are denying your desire to savor this moment. The seat is vacant, why won't you occupy it?" spoke he after flipping a page, "I assure you it does not bother me, not even an ounce."
Ajax croaked out a wide grin, "This is rather a surprise!" casually slides himself on the seat, polar opposite to the brunette. Perhaps his chance to befriend him? Although Ajax is his senior, should he mind his manners. That thought alone made him wince inside, "Do you come here often? It's far from our school, 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘱𝘢𝘪" afraid he'll make a mistake.
The latter responded a chuckle while clasping the book shut to give a soft 𝘵𝘩𝘸𝘢𝘤𝘬 on his forehead, "You may drop your formalities. I came here not as your senior, Ajax" a smile formed after but his eyes already gazing at the time that glinted regret, "What an unfortunate time. Apologies that our interaction ended so quickly, I will compensate a better time once we meet again" as he handed him a neatly folded paper before making his way towards the exit.
