Summary
It’s very hard to be a villain, you know, the usual problems. Blood on your clothes, people screaming when they see you, running away too (very annoying, especially when you’re just eaten a whole subway sandwich), the no killing children or women rule, it’s a lot of work. Being a villain is difficult. People think villains are just born sociopaths, psychopaths, killers, it’s the easy way out for others to put us in a bubble. Painting these pictures that we exist to bring chaos and fear into the world, putting our faces on posters and offering good sums of money just to see us locked up. The issue is, nobody actually knows why we do what we do. They don’t know the thousand of ants under our skin climbing to our heads when we get angry, the tears that never stop flowing when our dearest get killed, the painful smiles that come with hours of laughing. Because to them, villains are driven by evil, when the truth is really actually very simple.
We’re driven by good. By what „good” things did to us, by how „good” actions affected us. Looking at how the best actually turned us into the worst. How does that work?
