Things come to a head on a Tuesday afternoon.

A rift forms between papa bird and fledgling, a deep rift, a rift of mistrust, of anguish, so deep that it’s like the mariana trench.
Hawks turns his back on the fledgling he adores with every fiber of his being.
And Izuku?
He vanishes.
Gone in the dead of night, three weeks after Hawks stops acknowledging his presence, gone with the wind. No word as to where he was going, no note, no nothing. He’s just gone.
