Beep! Beep!
Chongyun groaned to the noise of his alarm. It was another day of toture, which was college. Don’t get him wrong, he loved learning but what he hated the most was socializing. Some people he didn’t mind talking to. Like Yanfei, Xiangling( his best friend), and Hutao, those people helped him occasionally with his work.
He focused a lot in school, Xiangling would tell him to relax and hangout with people but he simply couldn’t. He wanted to be just like his aunt Shenhe, who graduated with a bachelor's degree that got her various opportunities in careers related to exorcism. He wanted to impress her as well. So, after getting dressed and eating breakfast he went off to class.

“Have you heard?”
“Heard what?”
“Xingqiu broke up with his girlfriend!”
Chongyun overheard 2 girls obsessing over Xingqiu while he was at his locker. Xingqiu this, Xingqiu that. He was tired of everyone obsessing over some rich guy with no form of manners.
“I heard he broke up with her because she was too pushy”
Tired of listening to girls talking about Xingqiu, Chongyun grabbed his stuff and headed to his class. There, Xiangling interrupted Chongyun. “Chongyun!”Xiangling stopped chongyun giving him a big hug.
‘“Oh! Hey xiangling”
Chongyun didn’t know how to react when people gave him a hug or any sort of affection, So he just stood there. “I’m so glad to see you! Guess what?” Xiangling said. Chongyun awkwardly chuckled ‘“You can tell me what after you get off me, please?” Chongyun told Xiangling embarrassed, he looked around as he felt everyone was staring at him. He hoped no one thought he liked Xiangling or was dating her.
“Oh right, sorry!” Xiangling removed her arms from Chongyun and smiled softly at Chongyun. ‘“Well, I got us both invited to Xingqiu’s party this weekend! It wil-” Xiangling got cut off by chongyun. “Nope. Not going.”
“Chongyun! You’re going to this party! I don’t care if you don’t want to! You haven’t even socialized a lot this school year. You have to go to at least ONE party!”
Chongyun sighed. “When and Where is this party?” He asked. It was almost the end of the school year. He figured to make Xiangling happy before school ends.
“6:00pm at Xingqiu’s house, Tomorrow night. So are you coming?’’
“We will see.’’
The bell rang indicating that class was starting
“Fuck i’m going to be late. I’ll see you at lunch Xiangling!’’
Chongyun rushed to class, He shared almost all his classes with Xingqiu, So he heard his voice pretty oftenly.
“Alright class, Someone left a note here yesterday. It had very disrespectful content in it. Who was it?’’ Mr. Zhongli said in a very serious matter but looking around, everyone was laughing. They knew what happened, Chongyun didn’t know what was the deal until..
“Okay, I guess I'll have to call them out myself. ’’ Zhongli sighed. “Chongyun, stand up.“
Chongyun's heart started racing. Did they farm him? He doesn’t leave notes to anyone. He stood up and instantly everyone was staring at him, Laughing at him except for Xingqiu. Xingqiu was looking down at his thighs, not even bothering to glance at chongyun. Eventually, Chongyun caught on. That bastard, He wouldn't have done such a thing right?
“Chongyun, Did you leave this note at my desk? Be honest.’’
“No sir. I’m not like that, I was farmed, please believe me.’’
“Chongyun, I’m sorry but I don’t believe you’’
Suddenly, Xingqiu quickly got up.
“It was me. Punish me, I did it.’’
The whole classroom gasped. While Chongyun stood there staring at Xingqiu, What the hell was happening?
“I’m afraid I can’t punish you, Xingqiu.’’ Zhongli told him. Of course he wouldn't. Xingqiu is everyone's favorite.
“Ok, Just don’t punish Chongyun. He did nothing.’’ Xingqiu looked at Chongyun with an apologetic look. Chongyun looked at him back, realizing how adorable he looked, what the fuck. He started to blush. Quickly he stopped himself, the last thing he wanted was a crush on someone before the school year ends.
“Alright then, You two may sit down’’

It was lunch, The worst period for Chongyun. It was a battle to pick where to sit sometimes. Sometimes he felt bad if he sat with Xiangling. He didn’t want people to think Xiangling was a wimp who hung out with Chongyun. He only sat with her whenever she asked him too.
Suddenly, He heard a loud voice from afar
“Chongyun! Over here!’’
He looked over to see Xiangling waving at him. Chongyun, embarrassed, turned red and awkwardly walked over to her. He sat in front of her with his lunch his aunt packed for him.
“’Sooo, I heard what happened today in Zhongli’s classss!“
“It isn’t a big deal really, he just stood up for me thats all’’
“It isn’t a big deal when the cutest guy in this school stands up for you?! You never know maybe he likes men, men with blue hair maybe!?’’
“I barely even talk to him, there's zero chan-’’
“SHH! Here he comes!’’
“Huh?’’
Chongyun looked behind him to see the dark blue haired boy walking towards them. Oh archons, if this day could get any worse for Chongyun.
“Hey is this seat taken?’’ Xingqiu asked.
“I guess not.’’ Chongyun replied.
Xingqiu sat down next to Chongyun. Chongyun felt some sort of butterflies in his stomach, Oh dear archons, This won't get any better.
“Hey, Chongyun. I’m sorry about this morning, My friends were playing around and decided to blame it on you. I should’ve stopped them, I apologize for my actions.’’
Chongyun stayed silent, He wasn’t sure if he wanted to forgive Xingqiu.
“You don’t have to forgive me. I came over here not just to apologize, I was wondering since you were coming to my party if you would like to be friends and hang out after the party for abit. Maybe sleep over?’’
Chongyun looked at Xiangling for reassurement to find Xiangling distracted talking to her friends. I guess he had no choice. “Sure.’’ Chongyun replied.
“Great! I can’t wait to see you then. Say, I will call you Yun! Short for Chongyun you know!’’
“Yun–?’’
“Yeah, isn't it a cute nickname?’’
Xingqiu smiled at Chongyun. Chongyun couldn’t tell if he was being serious or not – what he did know is that he definitely didn’t like to be teased like that. “Yeah, I guess. I’ll see you at the party right?’’
“Mhm! You better wear something cute, not that you don't look cute enough in that uniform, you look absolutely adorable.’’

Xingqiu really can’t be serious. Why is he flirting with chongyun? Chongyun is a GUY! Xingqiu only flirts with GIRLS. This was all new to Chongyun. He couldn’t seem to understand what was going on.
Chongyun got red, really red, Only to notice Xiangling staring at Chongyun with the most annoying face ever.
