Anakin has a dream about womp rats.
(The comic that inspired the whole Padawan at War series. Takes place during the first chapter of A Padawan at War (Again))

Happy second birthday to this series. Thought I ought to finally share the doodle I made that inspired the whole thing.

Work Text:

A comic panel of young Anakin Skywalker standing in the doorway of a room where Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi is sitting with his legs kicked up on a desk. Obi-Wan is frowning at a red holopad and Anakin is holding a mouse droid. Anakin asks “Are you busy, Obi-Wan?” to which Obi-Wan replies “Incredibly.” Anakin then says, “Oh. Okay.”

The second panel is the same as the first, except that Anakin sits down in the doorway and silently starts to work on his mouse droid. There is the beginning of a smile on Obi-Wan’s face as he continues to read his holopad.

In the third panel, Anakin continues to work on the droid and Obi-Wan continues to read his holopad. Anakin says “I had a dream where Master Yoda was riding a womp rat,” to which Obi-Wan asks, smiling, “That so?” Anakin continues “You were there too” and Obi-Wan says “Really.”
