Summary
Edgar Allan Poe didn't have the best family, with wealthy but absent parents, who pressured him from a very young age and who used their limited time with their son to take their frustrations out on him or drunk, he definitely didn't have the best experience with a family.
Edogawa Ranpo doesn't remember much about his parents, he just knows they were always busy until on day the weren't there anymore, then he met Fukuzawa Yukichi, who became the closest thing he had of a father, and the agency with time became the closest thing he had of a family. His family is a sometimes dysfunctional and all times chaotic one, but is still his, maybe they are not the traditional picture of what a family is, but they have each other's backs.
Nakajima Atsushi spend most of his life with no family and no friends, completely alone and feeling like a waste of space. That's is until he saves a suicidal maniac and finds himself with a new job and new friends who became his new family.
Neither of them have good or normal experiences about what a family is, but together they learn that sometimes a family is two detectives, a tiger boy and the friends they made along the way.
