Summary
Jack leans in, slowly, like approaching a small animal, “I was just wondering if we could—”
“Absolutely not,” Brew cuts him off the moment he got his answer, tensing up a little.
The other suddenly pulls back, “O-Oh? Is there a reason why…? Am I not your type or…?”
“No, I…” Brew huffs, shutting his laptop so he can take his coffee cup fully into his hands. “It’s just… I’m picky about the kind of person I sleep with. I try to avoid situations that might lead to something remotely romantic.”
“So you do the hokey pokey, and the hokey pokey only, for fun?” Jack clarifies.
Brew’s eyes narrow at the censorship word choice for ‘sex’, but decides to dismiss it, “To put it simply, yes. You’re someone I know, Jack, and I wouldn’t want to ruin our friendship just because of sex.”
>o<
Brew regularly sleeps around. Jack was supposed to be just another guy.Until, y'know, he wasn't.
