   Summary

   Rain Hostwell, an Irish drifter woman from the famed criminal Hostwell family of Dublin, travels into Birmingham from London while looking for some work. She's heard of the Peaky Blinders and aims to join them. While the barriers of her gender impede her, her cleverness and ferocity impress Thomas Shelby, leader of the Peaky Blinders. While she is employed on a trial basis, she finds herself caught up in the whirlwinds of the Shelby expansion in London and the dark whispers of her own past.
