Wealth, fame, power. Gol D. Roger, the King of the Pirates, attained everything this world has to offer. And so, many men head for the Grand Line to find the great treasure he left behind, the One Piece. The world has truly entered a Great Pirate Era! Wearing the straw hat sworn upon him by the great pirate, Shanks Monkey D. Luffy heads out to the sea on a journey on the road to become King of the Pirates!
It was a bright and sunny day. A great day for a grand adventure. That was what was going on in the mind of one young man in a straw hat. He then began to untie a small fishing boat and get ready to set sail. Surrounding him were the citizens of Windmill Village who were there to see the young man they helped look after since he was a child.“Luffy?” asked one of the villagers, “Are you sure you don’t want to take one of my bigger boats?”
“No,” responded the young man named Luffy, “I’ll be getting a bigger one soon so this will be fine for now.”
“How could you do this? You know the reputation our town is going to get when it comes out that a pirate’s home town is this village.” grumbled the Mayor
“There is no need to be so grouchy just because you're going to miss him.” said the green haired woman.
“Thanks, Makino Shishishishi,” he said with a laugh. Then a young woman the same age as Luffy walked over to the crowd of people like she was on a mission.
“Where do you think you're going?” she shoughted. “Dummy”
“Luna, I am going to become King of…” Luffy started to say.
“The Pirates,” Luna finished his sentence,” I know that part.” She then went to the water's edge and hopped in the boat. “You think you’re going to just leave me here while you go doing God knows what out there by yourself and besides what would happen if you fall overboard you can’t swim.” After her tirade on Luffy she brought her fist down on his head leaving a goose egg.
“Hey, I’m the older sibling here, not you,” he pouted, rubbing his head, “and why do your punches hurt like grandpa’s?” She then rolled her eyes and turned to wave goodbye to the villagers that had gathered around. The two siblings then set off sailing for the adventure, gather a strong crew, and find the most important treasure of all time, the One Piece. Though the indictment of their journey started only a few metres off shore when a large grey sea king emerged from the ocean.
“Luffy!!!” shoughted Luna.
“Oh, I remember you.” Luffy said coolly then shoughterd, “Gum-Gum Pistol” Luffy then stretched his arm back an impossible ways away then threw a powerful punch that sent the giant sea monster flying. For you Monkey D. Luffy is not just a mere mortal for he ate one of the legendary devil fruits. The Gum-Gum fruit which made him a rubber man.
“I’m glad you finally figured out how to get that right.” Luna smirked.
“Shishishishi” Luffy laughed. As they travelled out to sea. Then Luffy saw a whirlpool in the ocean and started to sail toward it.
“What are you doing?!” shouted Luna.
“That whirlpool looks like fun.” Luffy answered as the two sibling went into the whirlpool one laughing in excitement the other cursing in a way that is very unlady like.
