Summary
Senator Castiel’s standing in the Senate of the Ancient Roman Republic is about that of a pesky gnat annoying Jupiter himself. Advancing his career is hindered by the fact that unmated senators are not allowed to join in the political orgies and knotting sessions wherein the great wheels of power turn in Rome.
When Castiel heads to the amphitheatrum to search for a mate among the barbarian gladiators, he never expects to respond quite so intensely to the rosemary scent of a certain alpha slave with piercing green eyes.
