Well, it all started in a certain day,
The day Minori confessed to Kohane and she accepted— That was one of the few good luck events she had in her life, and she promised herself she’d never forget, ever.
Kohane was her only friend in school for a while, she was really shy and introverted, but Minori somehow managed to open that bubble and fit herself into the timid one’s life
And oh well, no one would have thought the said friendship would morph into love.
It had been around 3 months since they started dating, and it was amazing, of course, if you don’t count the teachers giving them some reports for being so talkative or lovey-doves with each other, but it’s not like they minded about that either.
But today, it was end of the semester. No one would have thought that half a year would go by so quickly, but that’s that. And Minori decided she should ask Kohane out on a date, as a commemoration of the break they have now.
— O-Kay, Training over! – Airi clapped her hands, getting Minori out of her thoughts quickly and making her return to her usual energetic self
— Thanks for today, you guys! I’ll be going now really quickly, I have tobewithKohaneandaskheroutonadatebutifshedoesnthavetimewecanmaybehangout! — All the members of the group laughed at the quick speech Minori had, making her flush
— I honestly didn’t understand a word besides 'Kohane'…Haha, I wish you both a good time, then — Haruka said, making Minori flush quite a bit, but she shakes her head quickly and grabbed her water bottle to go downstairs
— Minori…Always being such an amazing friend for us and girlfriend for Kohane…! I’m so happy for her I’m almost shredding a tear…— Shizuku said in a mother-like voice, making the others around her chuckle, mainly Airi.
As she quickly walked downstairs, her excitement went up in a matter of seconds only. She couldn’t wait to see her, even though they are in the same class, she misses her so, so much. When she saw the sign for her class, 1-A, She frantically opened the door with a not subtle “Kohane!” call
What she found was not Kohane, at least it wasn’t only her, Shiho was there too, talking to her, pinching her girlfriend’s cheeks in a cute format and both giggling at each other
Ah, yes, Kohane and herself tried to socialize with her quite a lot overtime, and success has been in a quite low rate, but based on what she could discover, Shiho wasn’t what her expectations told her, liking pet games, having a soft personality sometimes, disliking her sister…not exactly a dislike, only that she is way too close sometimes (That information only coming to light when she pressed her about how amazing Shizuku was) and more things her brain couldn’t process
— Ah! Minori! — Kohane said, Making Shiho drop Kohane and look where she was, making her…blush? — I was here talking to Shiho since well…I can’t really leave without you, and you were rehearsing.
Some couples would be jealous of what they saw, some others would accuse their partners of cheating, and others wouldn’t mind at all
But it had a different reaction on Minori, one that wasn’t listed there.
She felt a sense of love, as in— When she is with Kohane, she feels her heart beat faster and the desire to be with her, hug her. And that desire went up when she saw both of them for some reason, she wanted to simply come to both of them and feel loved, too.
It was…really weird, but good. But she had to quickly come back to the scene, or else they would have a wrong impression.
— Awww, Kohane! – she jumped onto her partner, hugging her — You shouldn’t have waited! We could meet up elsewhere and all of that! – She now let go of the hug and holder her hands — What I wanted to ask is if you…if you wanted to go on a date with me tomorrow. You know, we are free all week until the break is over and yeah! I think it’d be amazing
— Waaah! I would love that, Minori!! – She gave her a small peck on her cheek — I want to hear all about what you planned! But knowing you, you probably didn’t even choose where we’re going yet…hehe! I’ll help you choose, why not…Phoenix Wonderland? — They cutely squeaked together — Yes!! Of course, ‘Hane!
And…Shiho was just staring at them, an overwhelming stare, honestly. It was so powerful it looked like it could cast a spell upon anyone who went under it, and it caught them both, making their heart flutter in unison, but, as the "disaster of a person" Minori is, she involuntary said:
— What about Shiho, thought? — It was supposed to be come out as a whisper to herself, to Kohane, at most, but she practically shouted. She didn’t even realized the weight of what she had said until the mentioned girl’s eyes went wide and her cheeks lit up slightly, causing a reaction on her quickly, hell, that was a pretty vision, but she brushed it off, or tried, at least
— Minori…um…well — Kohane fidgeted with her fingers nervously, her face was also growing hot quickly. Minori quickly grew afraid she made her girlfriend uncomfortable by considering inviting their friend to what was supposed to be their date but with a quick glance…that’s not what it was. It was not the nervous Kohane Minori saw when former was going to perform on an event, it was similar to the nervous Kohane she saw when they first got…huh?
— It’s you guys’ date. I don’t think a third wheel there would be very convenient… — Shiho answered, but there was something to her answer too. The gray haired girl was always hard to read for some, not for Minori, though, she was always great at that, and that Shiho surely didn’t look like she was against the idea of tagging along, just seemed like she was…hesitating.
Minori looked at the introverted one for a second more and then looked at Kohane. As the lovers looked into each others eyes, they seemed to be thinking the same thing, if not, they’d be very similar, and that thing was "I want her to come too.” mixed with a "Why am I thinking about this?” that was also mixed with a "I want to try.". They knew they didn’t love each other less for whatever they were feeling but…that required a bit of thinking. After a millisecond or something that was extremely quick, Kohane peeked up
— Well…I did get an extra ticket for the park’s attractions, since I had my hundredth purchase — The hamster-like girl quickly grabbed her bag and went through it fast, finding a ticket that was somewhere she didn’t even remember until that second — Got it while paying for me and Minori’s ticket, so you’ll don’t have to worry about paying!
Shiho definitely seemed confused, as she did not expect that. After a moment of what looked like thinking, she sighed and put her backpack on only one of her shoulders — Alright. It’s been a while since I went to one of those, anyway.
The couple duo smiled really brightly at the answer, looking like they could have Shiho blind
— Ehehe! I’ll talk to you both about the date via SNS then! — Kohane said that calmly, but her body language said otherwise. The use of the word “date” came unnoticed by the two other girls, it somehow seemed natural.
— Okay! Shii, We’ll send you some texts, so be alert! — Minori seriously expected that nickname slip up to make Shiho mad, but it actually made her form up a quick giggle
— Yeah. See you both.
Phoenix Wonderland, Such an amazing place, isn’t it?…
— Ah! Kohane-Chan and Minori-Chan, Won-won…Wondahoi! — A pink haired girl appeared from the entrance, quickly making her way to both of the girls, and then, doing a pose — Didn’t expect to see you here! Watchu both doing? — She tilted her head
— We’re hanging out, Otori. — A voice from behind came, It was Shiho, she was on casual clothes, a green jacket and a black shirt underneath, with some maroon shorts too — Good afternoon, you both
— Ah! Shiho! — Emu suddenly seemed a little bit scared — Your aura is powerful like Ms.Asahina’s…! A-Ahem! Have a-a great time here, you all! — She made her way out of the gate and ran away to somewhere, who knows where she exactly went.
— Hey. — Shiho snapped her fingers — You wanted me here, so…lets go.
The actual walk was pretty silent, if it were only Kohane and Minori, they’d be chatting a whole lot, but with Shiho there…It wasn’t awkwardness that made them not say a word, is that they wanted to include Shiho in, they just didn’t know how.
Suddenly, Minori had noticed the number of footsteps had decreased (That being an ability for excessive idol training) making her look to her side, there was Kohane; holding her hand, so Shiho was the one who got away
Of course, a boring date that no one says a word and the vibe being completely weird, it’s a reasonable reason to escape
That’s if she didn’t look behind to see Shiho on a small machine to win prizes of sorts, with prizes attached to it, the most alarming one being an enormous Phenny plushie, and there was Shiho, gambling to try to get it
The sudden stop got Kohane to look behind, and being met with the same surprise
As they walked by, they saw Shiho more clearly, head on her shoulders on the machine and a mascot by her side, asking her if she wanted more tries
— Thank you, but I have somewhere to be. — Shiho asked, having the mascot to nod at her
— Excuse me!! May I buy a try? — Minori spoke up, leaving Kohane surprised, but warming up her heart too. Shiho looked at the direction Minori was and blushed all the way up to her ears, trying her best to cover it up
— Surely. — The mascot gave her a short answer, so she simply pulled out a dollar and gave it to them, and went to the machine. Kohane looked at her girlfriend and by the look on her face, she simply did that out of pity and had no idea on what to actually do there
— Here — Kohane put her head on top of her partner’s and held her hand on the direction she should be pointing — You have to shoot the dummy over there until it falls, but it will constantly change its position, so you have to be quick, I believe in you!!
Minori was now determinanted, she had to win the prize for Shiho. It was not even a situation of pity anymore
And so, she did. Somehow, all of her excitement made her focus more on the dummy and she “killed” it like it did the worse things ever
Well, it prevented Shiho to get what she wanted, so it’s not so different
The prize was handed in Minori’s hands, in which she passed to Shiho in a heartbeat
— Here! I felt really bad for you not getting the plushie, so I had to do something for you!
— Um, Thanks…I guess. — She slowly came to an embrace with the plushie, and smiled. Shit, it was so beautiful, and so, she walked away a bit before looking back — Come here then, we can spend this date together — She did realize her choice of words pretty damn well, she just didn’t care at all at that point
This time, they managed to actually build up a conversation together, and learn more about each other
For an example, Kohane wasn’t the only expert of Phoenix Wonderland’s attractions, because so was Shiho.
The talk shifted in a way that was so natural to them it felt like they were made for each other.
At the moment, Shiho and Kohane were sitting on a small bench, with Minori showing them some training she did daily, which, for some reason, was really humorous for them. Not like she did mind it, it was cute to see them laugh at simple details like her routine, and it made her wish she saw that vision every day, not only Kohane, no only Shiho, both of them.
She really wanted a kiss now, because feeling love is what she was experiencing, and she didn’t want to leave not even a tiny bit uncovered
When she came back to the bench, she saw Shiho and Kohane with their hands being held together, and as she sat in the middle, she decided not to break the embrace and held their hands at the same time
— I just hope this doesn’t sound weird, but can I get a kiss? — Minori asked, making Shiho visibly jealous for a second, but being covered up quickly
She did go up to Kohane and steal a quick, sweet and lovely kiss from her, and she loved it. But as she looked to the other side and met Shiho’s lips by throwing herself above her, that’s something that got all of them surprised.
She tasted like cotton candy they had earlier together, with a mix of capuccino and her own natural blend, it was sweet. It was not better then Kohane’s, Neither it was inferior then her’s, it was perfectly balanced.
When Minori pulled out is when she realized Shiho had actually given in to the kiss, being relaxed and blushing, with not a sign of being mad, only confusion and the love that was with her were in view
— Minori…Haa…What gives?… – She looked at Kohane, who wore a surprised face, making her blood run cold, since it completely slipped her mind that the two were dating for a second — Kohane…I’m sorry, I really am…
The girl in question shook her head and went up from her seat, signing Minori to change sides with her, and so, she did the same thing her girlfriend did. Shiho had decided to not complain and realized what was going on, and hugged Kohane’s back to deepen the kiss for a bit, and then got back to her usual composure later, and quickly failed as she broke into a chuckle
— Alright, Alright. I see what game you two are playing — She both of her hands on her lap, and looked to their side happily — Thank…Thank you both. That was a little silly action but…us three together made me feel something I haven’t before and…wow… — she put her hands on her lips in amusement — I liked it. If you two mean on going a step further as to…join you, then we’ll do it slowly, but for now…we can continue. — and so, their plan which wasn’t actually planned came to a success
— Shiho!…Awww~ But I saw you deepening the kiss further with Kohane, we have to make that equal! — She did a fake pout, making them laugh
— Okay, come here you two.
And so, the rest of the date was them realizing the feelings that went onto their heart without warning, and honestly, it was the best thing they could’ve ever donE
