Summary
Your best friend of eight years, Brynlee Sloane, was a main character.
It was clear with the way she found herself in awkward and coincidental situations almost constantly. Love triangles, mean girl bullies, an aunt that she's lived with almost her whole life, parents' mysterious disappearances, etc. You'd been there to see it all. And, from all the movies you'd watched, you knew that you were ultimately the basic main character's best friend. You were constantly disregarded by whoever Brynlee attracted and you were always there to comfort her after a potential lover broke her heart.
