Summary
In another world, another time, Fashav's life ended at the Embassy. But that is not this world, and thank the Sun for that. Instead of meeting his death, Fashav meets the woman responsible for saving Meridian and finds himself transfixed. Even weeks after they part ways, she's still on his mind, helped not at all by the giant statue of her in the plaza in Meridian. Working toward his goal of building a lasting peace between the Carja and the Tenakth, his newly-accepted role as ambassador means he can travel freely between the two capitals.
