There’s a quote following the edge—from that one Bright Eyes song that used to turn Yuta to mush—and he can almost feel the sharpie in his hands, the beanie on his head that pressed his hair into his eyes. Maybe if he doesn’t open it there’s some version of him that’ll stay safe in there forever. Maybe he should just let sleeping dogs lie.
