Saiki was a bit troubled, juuust a bit.
His girlfriend kept on drunk texting him...
[SAIKI-KUUUUN WHY WONT U ANSWEER THE PHONE??????????? DO YU HATE ME NOW?? SAIKI]
'Ugh, I should've come with her...'
Ever since the pair began dating a few months ago, Teruhashi has been nothing but the "perfect" girlfriend to him. Not once has she slipped, well, not until now...
[SAIki kun r you oaky??? ur not hurt are yoou?? saiki kun tell me if ur hurt plesseeee]
He sighed and replied, [I'm not hurt. Are you okay?]
His single response caused a couple replies to come in return.
[SAIKI UR HEER]
[I AM NOT HURT <3 CAN U ANSWER THE PHONE PPLEASEE? I NEED to hear your voice.]

Saiki sighed and looked at the clock. It was already 10 PM, and he still had a lot of assignments to finish. 'If I teleport there, it shouldn't take too long, should it?'
But wait. He stopped before standing up fully. He wondered, was he being too clingy if he suddenly turned up in their all-girls party and took his girlfriend home? He's been very careful not to be too showy of their relationship and even made Teruhashi promise not to be public with their relationship.
'Wouldn't this blow everything up?'

He sighed again, this time with his cheeks ablaze. 'Ugh, she's so annoying.'
[I'm coming, can you come outside secretly?]

Even Saiki couldn't hide his smile, small chuckles erupting from his mouth.
[I'm on my way. Be careful with walking, Teruhashi.]

Saiki smiled at her final text and stood up from his seat, picking up two jackets from his closet (one for him and one for Teruhashi, just in case) before teleporting out of his apartment.

From afar, just a few blocks away from Yumehara's apartment, Saiki could already see Teruhashi's shiny, almost glistening head of blueberry-blue hair. Her outfit was cute but too short for this cold Tokyo weather, thought Saiki.
'Teruhashi.' Saiki telepathically called his girlfriend, who quickly looked up from the pavement and looked for him. He waved his hand, hoping to catch her attention. Once Teruhashi noticed Saiki, her drunkenly self flailed her arms around with the warmest, sweetest smile on her face. Saiki smiled, but one too small for Teruhashi to see.
"Saiki-kunnn." She says in a sing-songy tone. Once Saiki was close enough, she immediately slides her arms around his waist and snuggled in his chest. Saiki promptly placed one of his prepared jackets over her shoulders. 'You reek of alcohol. What was that about not drinking too much?'
"I only drank two cups...," Teruhashi mumbles, snuggling a bit closer to Saiki, who finally returns her hug after adjusting the jacket to perfectly hang on her small body. Saiki hums quietly in agreement as he noticed her quietly dozing off. He picked her up and walked into the dark corner of Yumehara's apartment, and once he ensured that no cameras nor people would see them, he teleported to Teruhashi's apartment.
Right as he arrived, he quickly headed to her bedroom and gently placed her down on the bed. He took out new covers from her closet and used his psychic powers to cover her (because she'd pull him down the bed if he did it himself).
"Saiki...join me here...Saikiiiii...." The indisputably beautiful girl mumbles while tossing and turning on her bed. 'Go to sleep.' He told her telepathically while removing her boots.
"I will, okay, okie-dokie...," her voice trailed off. Saiki leaned closer to her to remove her hoop earrings and necklace.
Thanking his brother for adding a useful function to his glasses, that is, canceling his X-ray vision, he watched his girlfriend sleeping peacefully. He used his powers to remove her makeup, though there wasn't much, to begin with.
He kissed her on her forehead and whispered,
"Goodnight, Teruhashi." After readjusting her blanket one last time, he finally left her apartment.

Ring, ring.
Saiki reached over his bedside table and checked who was calling. 'Oh, her...'
"Hello? Saiki-kun?"
"Yes...?"
Teruhashi's voice sounded like she was smiling, Saiki checked with clairvoyance if she was, 'She is...'
"Did you take me home last night? I just checked our chats...I'M SO SORRYYY!"
Saiki scoffed. "It's nothing. Did you have fun last night?"
"Hee hee, I did. Aiura even did my makeup! She's so nice."
"I bet she did," Saiki snugged a bit closer to his pillow and placed his phone on top of his ear. "Are you feeling sick?"
"Yes," she sobbed. "I hate it, take care of me, please? Pretty please?"
"That's your responsibility for drinking too much."
"Eeeeh? Saiki-kun..."
"You promised me you'd drink just two glasses."
"But...they told me I was a killjoy if I only drank that much..."
He sighed. "I'll bring some medicine."
"Are you angry?"
"No, of course not. I'll be right back."
"Wait!" Teruhashi suddenly raised her voice, and the continued with a much softer tone. "Do you still like me?"
"You think I don't?"
"Just answer!"
Saiki sighed, "Jeez...," he thought of how stupid this whole thing was, but all with red cheeks. "I like you and your stupid face. Come on, I'm hanging up."
"Hehe, bye-bye!"
"Bye."

"Saiki-kun!" He heard her calling from the inside before finally opening her door. She seemed to have already taken a bath, well, unlike him, she's a morning person who wakes up way too early.
Saiki raised his bag of medicine, including some hangover soup ingredients. "Ack, thank you so much! Let me take them-"
Saiki gently pushed her hand away and waved it, signaling, 'No, I'll carry them.'
"O~kay, I'll prepare the bowls and stuff then."
Saiki headed inside and tucked away his shoes next to Teruhashi's slippers.
"Put them here!" Teruhashi told him from her kitchen. Saiki immediately goes over to her with his plastic bag.
"Could you put that plastic in the drawer?" Teruhashi tells him while taking out some pots and ladles from her cabinet. Saiki obliges after emptying the plastic bag.
He helped her out with the preparation. Teruhashi glances at him, watching him work his way around her kitchen with a smile. He looked at her with a questioning stare, but she only giggled and shook her head no. Saiki scoffed, his lips curved into a smile.
'For someone with a "hangover", you sure are energetic.' Saiki told her telepathically.
"Hmm? I'm not sure what you're talking about."
'In the first place, I'm not talking.' Thought Saiki. 'Whatever, let's just finish this so you can cure whatever headache you say you have.'
"Yup, let's do that, so we can go on a date!"
'I still have worksheets and a couple of exercises to finish.'
"Oh, that's no problem! We can have a study date then. I have some stuff to do too, hehe."
'Then why did you ask me out on a date?'
Teruhashi winked at him, "Of course, I'm just doing them in advance~. I finish up my work early, hehe."
Saiki smiled and nodded. 'Good job.'
Teruhashi blushed and continued stirring the soup they were making. "Thanks..."

Per Teruhashi's request, they had their "study date" in the public library. They sat across each other and did their school works quietly.
Saiki glanced at Teruhashi, who was completely focusing on her own works. 'So much for a "date", heh.'
Her glasses sat atop her nose, eyes glued on the screen. Saiki thought that she looked pretty while she was so focused, and then continued to think that, well, of course, she was Teruhashi Kokomi, she'd look good doing anything.
Meanwhile, Teruhashi on the other hand was thinking, 'Wah, Saiki looks so cute writing. I have to look good while I'm reading too...'
But of course, Saiki could hear that. He only sighed as he thought that she didn't have to do anything.

Teruhashi stretched her arms, yawning. "Gah, those worksheets were a lot more trouble than they're worth..." she complained.
'I'm just glad I'm done with my essays.' Saiki replied through telepathy while sipping his mocha latte.
"So, do you want to do anything?"
'We can watch a movie if you aren't too tired. I have some CDs rented.'
"Don't you want to watch a movie in the cinemas?"
Saiki frowned and shook his head no. 'I'd rather not...' He replied telepathically. He left his Germanium ring at home, so the moment he steps near the cinemas, he'd already know everything about the movie.
"Alright then, let's watch in your house. Should we buy some food to eat?" Teruhashi asked him as she held his hand and slid her fingers into his. Saiki nodded, 'Do you want anything?'
"I want some donuts! How about you?"
'Hmm...if you're having donuts, then I'll go with cheesecakes so I can match the theme.'
Teruhashi chuckled. "What theme? Well, cheesecakes are good too. Let's go then!"
Saiki pocketed their hands and began walking.

<"...because less than twenty feet away from me was Juli, my Juli.">
"Sniff..."
'Why are you crying? You've already watched this.'
Teruhashi snuggled closer to Saiki as they watched the movie on Netflix on his couch. "Sniff...because I relate to Juli so much, sniff."
Saiki eyed her funny. 'How? You're nothing like her...'
"You wouldn't get it! Let's just watch." Teruhashi pouted and focused on the screen. In her thoughts though, Saiki could clearly hear why: 'I always thought he wouldn't like me back! I mean, while we became good friends, he avoided me like the plague before...stupid Saiki. Hmp!'
Saiki scoffed and pulled her shoulder closer to him, surprising Teruhashi. "Hm? What's up?"
'I like you.'
Teruhashi's cheeks turned bright red. "H- Huh? Yeah, you do! Of course, you do! W... why are you saying it so suddenly...?"
'Just letting you know.'
Teruhashi quickly took a mini-donut from its paper container and stuffed it into Saiki's mouth. 'Hey, what's the deal-'
Before Saiki could fully turn to look at Teruhashi, she had already planted a sneaky kiss on his cheek. It was now his turn to be bright red. "Mfkjkgmp?!"
Teruhashi couldn't smirk her actions off though, as she, as well, became as red as he was. "L...let's just watch..."
The couple continued watching, but after some time, they weren't even looking at the TV anymore. Were each other's eyes much more entertaining for the to stare at them for as long as they did?
Maybe. Teruhashi was finally with him, after years of liking him. She wishes she could tell her past self that, hey, look! He doesn't hate you after all. You can stop overthinking. She couldn't brag to her past self, after all, it was because of her effort that she could finally make this stoic man blush even with just a stare. Now they're even watching a romance movie together! Teruhashi could run miles with the amount of adrenaline he gave her whenever he smiled at her.
To Saiki, on the other hand, well, he can finally appreciate her beauty even better with these glasses. Her features were seemingly handcrafted by God herself, taking her time with each angle and corner, with every tint and hue. The thoughts that ran through her pretty little head were no less entertaining and fun to hear too. And even though he's a psychic, somehow, this amazing woman never failed to surprise him. He really, really liked her. Or maybe even more...? There was no rush to figure things out. They have all their life to know how they truly feel for each other.
'I'll be yours forever, and you'll be here with me too. That's the beauty of being in a relationship, I guess.'
Teruhashi closed her eyes, and thousands of thoughts suddenly ran through his head. 'Wait, calm down, let's hear her thoughts...'
/'You're the most precious thing I own, and I'll always love you the way I do now. You were the first one to make me feel truly appreciated, and because of you, somehow it's because of you, that I began meeting all these amazing people that make me happy every day. Being 'perfect' isn't just for me now, I just want to be perfect to you. You...make me *feel* perfect. You make me feel...loved, Saiki.'/
'Oh my god...' Saiki's face was burning. He gently raised his hand and caressed her face, the dim lights of the TV flashed on her porcelain-like skin. He brushed the tips of her long eyelashes and traced down the curve of her nose. "Are you teasing me?" pouted Teruhashi. 'No, you're just so beautiful.'
Teruhashi smirked, "Well, of course-"
Saiki leaned and kissed her full on her lips, which she reciprocated with just the same amount of gentleness and...tender emotion.
That was their first kiss, as individuals, and as lovers forevermore.
