Summary
For a prompt on the htp: Either Steve is worried that he's been hurting Bucky, could hurt him, or that his ability to consent is compromised. Just whatever the impetus is, Steve floats the idea that they should take a break from having sex, thinking to, you know, at least regroup after the shockwave. And Bucky immediately agrees, and everything is fine. Or at least, that's how it went from Steve's perspective.

The worst part isn’t that Steve puts it together, so quickly that Bucky can practically hear the pieces clicking into place on the flight home. Because how could he expect Steve not to, with the way they found him, with the way Rumlow left him, and the part of him that isn’t rattling hollow and empty wants to laugh hysterically. Of course Steve was going to figure it out.The worst part is that Steve knows, and figures it out, and cares.
