"Because it's 1am and we both have an early mission tomorrow. Please? "
Satoru huffs, as he rolls onto your body, his head cradled between your neck and shoulder. Instinctively, your hand reaches to softly comb his silver hair, feeling him relax as he takes a deep breath in.
He had a rough day today. Both of you did.
The high level curse you were assigned had already killed atleast five people when you got there. The sight was brutal. You weren't surprised when Gojo had been extra hyper ever since he got home. That's how he coped, you found that out ages ago. But now, as you listened to him softly breath on your skin, maybe it's time he shouldn't cope with it all alone.
"...Baby.. ", you combed his hair backward, knowing he's listening.
" Yknow, Nanami is planning this vacation that he wants to go in the future, so i was thinking.. "
He perks up, and even in the dark, you swear you could make out his raised eyebrows as he pulls up to look at you, waiting for you to go on.
"How about we do that? Plan a vacation to somewhere far away? "
"I don't think we could afford a vacation (Y/n), as you know, im pretty high in demand here "
Even in the dark, you could feel him smirk. You pinched his cheek playfully before continuing-
"I'm not saying 'when' we should be going. I'm just asking to plan, so when we get a lot of time in our future, we'll know what to do and where to go! Just the two of us. "
Gojo hums, as he mulls it over
" Do you really think something like that will ever come? "
"Yep, I wouldn't be suggesting it if I wasn't sure yknow "
You feel him grow quiet.
"I was thinking, maybe a quiet place? Like, maybe the mountains or something, I don't know but a loud place is kinda-
".. ra ..alis"
"Satoru, what was that? "
"Aurora Borealis. I want to go see it with you someday"
You felt yourself beam as Satoru places a soft kiss on your lips as he smiles back at you.
"You're really into glowy things, aren't you? "
"Yeah,but also, I don't think a lot of people come there, so don't worry (y/n) you'll have no problem being an introvert there , aren't I the best boyfriend ever? "
You scoff as you felt him giggle.
"Yeah yeah, how could I ever thank you for this, satoru"
"You could start by listening to my awesome facts about Aurora Borealis tonight"
You laugh, sleep and tiredness evident in both your voices but maybe, you decided listening to Satoru rant both of you to sleep is the way to go.
Maybe, just maybe, you and hin might even dream of the dream you were longing to escape to someday, away from all the bloodshed.
"Okay", you kissed him on the cheek, feeling him smile wider as you held his hand.
" I'm ready to listen, Satoru. "
