    Suguru and Shoko were acting weird.

    Satoru didn't get the excitement and buzz around Christmas. Or any holiday, really. It was his first year at Jujutsu High and it had opened up a whole new world for him. He'd gained friends who never treated him like he was something inhuman and he was allowed to see the outside world. But Christmas was just another day in the year, so why did a spike of pain go through his chest when he saw Suguru and Shoko stack presents in their dorms while his remained empty? He could have anything he wanted so long as he asked for it, so he didn't need presents.

    He was fine.

     

    Satoru wasn't fine.

    Summary

    Satoru doesn't survive the fight with Fushiguro Toji. He dies, cold and alone, leaving behind only a curse with a taste for carnage. Suguru brings that curse to his lips, swallows down the remains of his best friend, his one and only. He doesn't know if it's Satoru's soul or just a mindless curse he's ingesting, but still, he can't part with it.

    Devouring each other, they become one.

    With his newfound free time, Suguru has the capacity to explore his feelings towards a certain white-haired boy, reminisce on old memories and care for himself and others.

     

    Or in which, Getou Suguru slowly blooms, while Gojo Satoru slowly wilts.
