When she’d told him to bring a dark hoodie to go with his jeans, he’d not expected to spend the night hiding out in the bushes of the Ballard’s home waiting until Veronica could snap a perfect shot of the husband in flagrante delicto. Or red-handed, as he would have put it. Much had changed since she’d started at Columbia - like everyday words had been replaced by their Latin counterparts. What hadn‘t changed though was that she could still drag good ol‘ Wallace along to her stakeouts… and just like in high school, he still would oblige. Hoodie included.
