Summary
Dick gets tired of Logan being on the Veronica Mars roller coaster, so he decides to help him by getting the whole Neptune group involved. They kidnap Veronica, and unfortunately for her, Mac. They end up snowed in, where they end up with no choice but to deal with one another. Dick has a secret that he has only told to Keith Mars, which is what led him to decide to do this. Dick plays Santa Claus, and instead of pink ponies, he decides that hippos, real reindeer, drummers drumming, silver bells, and Santa getting kissed under the mistletoe are only some of the antics they end up getting up to. And he really, really wants to know why mommy is cheating with Santa and how the kid thinks that Santa can give him two front teeth, and decides that Madonna is greedy with her Christmas list, and Mac gets a headache listening to him. Veronica is annoyed with Logan, who is insisting that they read a Christmas Carol and Twas the Night Before Christmas. Who knows if any of them are going to make it back to Neptune as the snow keeps piling up as they are unaware that the Grinch is desperate to get to the cabin they are staying in.

Everyone works together to retrieve Mac, including both sets of her parents. Wallace gets to punch someone's lights out, and Weevil ends up in a dress, the things he does for Vee! Happily ever after is a long winding road, but in the end LoVe prevails and MaDi proves that for Dick, hard work isn't so hard when it gets him who he wants.

Summary
Veronica's been through a lot in the last year: her first love broke up with her in the cruelest way possible, her second chance dumped her to run off with his steroid-dealing ex-girlfriend, her best friend might have a stalker, and her mom - look, her mom is fine.
Things are finally starting to turn around when her new boyfriend betrays her with the last person she'd ever have expected, and that shatters her in a way nothing else ever has. But shattering things leaves sharp edges, and if Old Veronica was virtuous, and virginal, and Lilly's favourite plaything, New Veronica is going to be none of those things - she'll be vicious, vengeful, and willing to take down Lilly Kane by any means necessary.
Enlisting one of Lilly's other discarded toys to help her with that is, surprisingly, proving to be extremely satisfying in more ways than one.
