Logan is having a hard time finding his place, the return is difficult and it weighs on their life as a couple. At the same time, in a seemingly basic investigation, Veronica must prove the infidelity of a wealthy young woman from Neptune.

Summary
This is the sequel to my first fanfiction "NEPTUNE: 2 - The threshold of silence" and volume 3 of my series "NEPTUNE". Veronica is investigating the highly suspicious suicide of a soldier. She's made far more progress than the military on this case, which is causing them considerable concern. They want to reach a settlement to resolve the investigation and have sent Logan to negotiate one, despite his initial refusal. After 18 months, he will have to confront her and work with her.
