It was chatty as usual. As the scientist discussed among themselves in the lab room ever since Poppy playtime became a little bit of a flop. Sure Huggy wuggy was quite the popular toy among children. But Kids were became bored with The non-moving Toys.
Not that anyone could blame them. Imagine playing with a stuff animal that doesnt do anything. Yikes.
So with that in mind, The chattering crowd of scientists was immediately shushed by the Head Scientist. The scientists stopped to stare at Him as the Scientist cleared his throat.
"As we all know, Our company has been quite in some trouble and nobody wants to play with some non-moving piece of fluff, right?. So how about we decide to make living toys instead?" The scientist spoke. The other scientists stared at each other before back at Him. But one of the scientists pipped up.
"Sir. This is a great idea and all but scientifically its im-"
"We can always conduct experiments on the stuffed animals." Another one spoke out, cutting the female scientist with a huff. Which caused the other to scoff. "With what? Humans?".
"Perhaps so." A male voice could be heard as someone stepped in, Leith Pierre. The innovator.
"Y-your kidding right? Isnt that inhumane!?" The male scientist squeaked in defense. However Leith wasnt having it. So with a snarl, He glared at him.
"Do you want this company to succeed or not? I'm not above firing you if that's the case. I refuse to let this company go down in vain! You do not have the right to question my authority!" Which made the male scientist get up and bang his fist on the table. Causing some of the other scientists to yelp in alarm which caused Leith to yelp as well. He really hated loud noises.
"Dammit Leith! You cant do this! These are humans we are talking about! Do you really want to do this?!:
"Yes I want too! It's for the sake of having this company succeed. I will fire you if you continue to keep this childish behavior, do you understand?" Leith huffed. Trying his best to look as big and scary as possible. The scientist however, gave him a harden look. Which made the head scientist raise a hand at him and something he said surprised the room.
"Please, Leith only wants the company to do as good as possible. I'm sure Mr.Ludwid would appreciate when his sales go up once we get these toys walking, Yes?."
"Y-you people make me sick." Was all the male scientist said and sat back down with his down.
Suddenly Leith clasped his hands together. Silently but firm enough to catch the groups attention. "Now thats over. I want everyone to start gathering people who enters this building. Dont take too many but don't take a small amount either. Just enough so it won't be suspicious. If I hear that someone is going to expose us, I want to discard them as quickly as possible even if they are a worker, Child or a scientist. No ifs or buts."
With that. The scientists went to work.
