   Summary

A short Hanahaki AU Kainora story.

What is Hanahaki Disease (花吐き病)? It’s a fictional disease where someone experiencing unrequited or one-sided love will cough up flowers or petals. With any number of variations on specific details, it usually gets worse and worse as time goes on, eventually leading to death.

*In this AU Kai has not met up with the New Air Nation yet.

Posting once a year for Writing_Slowly's birthday. If you want to read all at once, bookmark and come back in June 2025.
