Chapter Text

Burc'ya,

I’m commissioning you to help me with a bounty. He’s quite elusive. Meet me on Tatooine. I already have the puck. I wouldn’t be asking for your help if I truly didn’t need it.

Safe travels.

      Sincerely, Mando

Burc'ya,

I hope this letter finds you well. I’m not really sure why I’m writing to you, anyway. We’ve only met a few times, but Greef Karga was insistent on us keeping in touch. I’m not sure why. I hope he didn’t bother you too much with it.

I would like to thank you for helping me during the shootout on Nevarro. The bounty, or baby, is safe in my care now.  So much for Greef Karga being a trusted ally. I would also like to thank you for helping to fix some parts of my ship earlier that week.

How are you, anyways? Things around the Razor Crest are fine. Just endless amounts of rusty parts that need fixing. Maybe you could help with that? The kid recently became a new addition to my life. Have you properly met him yet? I think you would find him enjoyable. I’ve taken somewhat of a liking to him. That’s pretty much it. Nothing too eventful here, other than the fact that I’m on the run with a little green kid.

      Sincerely, Mando

Burc'ya,

Recently, I ran into an old friend. Her name is Cara Dune. She’s an ex-shock trooper. Cara is one of the strongest people I know. We had to take down a group of raiders at a small village on Sorgan. The village consisted of krill farmers. They live a truly serene and peaceful life here in Sorgan, cultivating the earth and life on earth. I think the kid loved it there.

Anyways, back to the raiders. Cara and I managed to arm and teach the villagers how to shoot and defend themselves. I really had no faith in them, but they managed to hold themselves together. We took down an AT-ST. It was great, another job well-done.

I met a woman named Omera there. I almost left the kid in her care. A child does not belong in my type of lifestyle, one filled with violence and death. Turns out the bounty puck is still actively tracking the kid, allowing a lone bounty hunter to nearly shoot him to death. Cara…stopped him before he could deal any permanent damage.

I hope you find yourself well? Are you still repairing ships for the Naboo nobles?

I have to go, the kid is getting hungry.

      Sincerely, Mando
