Mr. Tiger

Summary:

Were-cat!Takemichi met his other older brother

Work Text:

"Michi, this is Kurokawa Izana. Another older brother of yours. Izana, this is Hanagaki Takemichi. We used to call him Michi. He is to be your second youngest sibling."

Izana blinked.

Did.. did Shin just introduced him to a cat?

Him? A rare breed of albino tiger? to a mere cat? And a cub, on top of that? Seriously?

He was already on his way to throw a fit when the blue-eyed cat-cub suddenly shoved itself into him and began to purr softly. It nuzzles into him like.. like they were familiar with each other.

"Mister.." It said. "Mister tiger.. you.. you smells so good.."

Oh ?

Whatever fit he wanted to throw disappeared in a split second just like that. He did not expect to hear it from a cat— which said to have the most fragrant pheromone out of all the Were species.

Honestly, it was nice. His prideful Were seemed so content with it, he began to let the cat-cub nuzzles more into him. Soft growl can be heard coming from his chest.

Then the cub turned itself and faced Shin, with eyes glistening, literally beaming.

"Shin-nii-san!" He said, a little too loud. "Can I— can I sleep with this mister for the night? Please, yeah? Please!" Izana had to admit that the cub is cute, for once. And it was refreshing to see his kind, even though it came from lower genus, to be this cute.

Izana already forgot how he wanted to claw the cub's eyes at first.

"Oh? I didn't know that you are a Were too, eh, Izana?"

He shrugged, "You didn't ask." He said nonchalantly.

"At least don't keep me blind of your vital information, you brat." He could see Shin rolled his eyes, but Izana really could not focus at that. Not when his nose began to notice the oh really nice and soft scent coming from the cub.

He did not even notice that he practically almost leaned himself onto the cub. The scent allure him so bad he wanted to start mingling it with his own. Or that was what his Were wanted to do.

"Okay, Shin-nii-san? I can sleep with this mister, can I?"

Shin looked amused. "But you two just met?" He asked with a matter of fact tone.

The cub shake its head, all too eager. "It's okay!" it exclaimed. "Mister tiger seems nice and he smells nice too! Yes? Please? Hng?" it whined. Begging Shin to make its wish came true.

Cute.

This cub shall be mine.

It was scary how his Were's feeling to the cub went South from how it started.

He did not realize that he growled even more louder than before. Izana had a hard time to keep his consciousness intact when his Were forced him to succumb to his instinct.

"Okay, okay. No need to growl like that, Izana. It's scary, y'know?"

A good thing Shin was a sensible person.

He nodded. His Were seemed to agree and stop growling.

"Yes! Let's go, mister! I will show you my nest!"

That was how his day ended, by letting himself being dragged into his newest younger sibling's room— or what his Were deemed as the nicest nest they ever get into.

The day after, he woke up feeling so refreshed.

It was one of the greatest sleep he ever had. Without nightmare, without waking up at the slightest sound of the caregiver checking up on him, and with the nicest, most fragrant smell enveloped him like a cocoon.

He was ready to a good morning. In his head was filled with the intention of introducing the cub to his Were circles, included in it was his servant, Hitto Kakucho, the were-eagle.

—not until he faced a sour looking Mikey, his other younger brother, in the dining table.

.. and how the brat literally snatched the cub from their intertwined hands.

"You came and steal my place as Mitchy's cuddle pillow?! How dare you!"

Yeah.

Definitely a brat.

"Hey, Michi."

Once upon a day, when a were-leopard and a were-cat both on a were-family date, the leopard started a conversation.

"Yes, Waka-onii-san?"

"I.. was wondering. Between me and that tiger, which one whom smelled the best for you?"

Because honestly, the leopard was feeling inferior when he knew about the tiger's existence. The cat lives with the tiger, spent much more time with the tiger rather than him.

Even though he found him first. Literally.

"Huumm.. Izana-onii-san smells nice, but he is.. uh.. a little bit scary."

"Is he?"

The leopard felt a pang of jealous hit his heart. Not wanting to hear that he lost to a species from the same genus (the same genus, for God's sake. They stood in the same line on hierarchy).

"Yes.. Waka-onii-san on the other hand, smells nice and.. nice! Hehe"

The jealousy disappeared. The leopard's eyes sparkles in joy.

"So that means I'm better?"

The cat nodded. Leopard beamed.

Leopard vs Tiger

Leopard scores.
