Shinichiro noticed that it was just about time for Michi's existence as his younger brother to be known by his fellow Black Dragon.
Not only because the kid had already met Waka, but also because rumor about Manjirou— and his Tokyo Manji cronies executives has been seen with Michi out in the public, parading and claiming their younger brother as Tokyo Manji's.
Of course the talk about the kid bound to arise.
Especially when it became known that recently Tokyo Manji has become so good at gathering information around the same time when Michi was one sidedly claimed by them, resulting in them grew even more bigger (Michi, with his cat traits such as sensitive ear and nose also feet on the lighter side, of course will be good at gathering information.)
Though, it is not like Shinichiro approve of it— about Michi being claimed as Tokyo Manji's. If he were to know that Manjirou would do something such, he would prevent their younger brother to be introduced to Tokyo Manji. He would rather take the kid under the great name of Black Dragon.
Also, Waka would not a little bit hesitated to show his support if he were to bring Michi and make the kid Black Dragon's— even though officially, one of Black Dragon's rule is to never recruit someone under 15 of age.
By a landslide, he lost the chance. Or, maybe not. Because as far as from their daily conversations went, Michi himself still not yet to claim himself as Tokyo Manji's. The younger repeatedly stated that he was just hanging around with Manjirou and the other brats because they were fun to hang out with, and Michi enjoyed gathering information, it seems.
So, it can still be fixed, Shinichiro hopes. If not for Michi to join Black Dragon, at least for Michi to remain untouched by the harsh and fucked up world of delinquents.
That is why the both of Shinichiro and Michi are now here, in the basecamp of Black Dragon (after he somehow persuaded Michi to join him and cancel his plan with Manjirou just for tonight).
"You wait here for a bit, okay?" Shin told the younger, in which the younger nodded without resisting, just like how he usually did.
20 minutes later, Shinichiro wrapped up the meeting quickly and make sure that the members get back home. Leaving in there just the execs.
"What's with the rushed, Shin?" Keizo, the guard unit captain, asked. He smiled at that and make a gesture for Michi to come closer.
Waka, Shinichiro swears it was not his eyes deceived him, had his ear twitches eagerly. Before the special attack guard walked towards Michi like the white-haired was bewitched by the younger.
"Michi." Waka said, smiling, and voice filled with fondness. Of course this cause the other to raise their eyebrows because, usually Waka was not the type to show emotions other than him being bored.
From the shadows, Michi showed up. His bright blue eyes shone brighter under the moon. His black hair, like always, looked all fluffy Shinichiro wants to ruffle it all day if not for Manjirou hogging the younger one, especially these past few days after he claimed Michi as one of Tokyo Manji's.
"Waka-onii-san! Hi!" Sheepishly, the younger said his greeting before proceed to rub his nose with Waka— a thing that started when the frequency of their meeting with one another has increased. It was cute. Only if Michi would do it with his common people family him too.
"What brings you here, cub?" Waka asked.
"Shin-nii-san said so, and I also want to know more about Shin-nii-san's friend!" It brought Shinichiro back. He cleared his throat and wrapped his right arm around Michi. Casually bringing the once stood in front of Waka to his side. Making Waka tsk-ing at him spitefully, yet do nothing and surrender by standing on the other side of Michi's body.
His palm resided on top of Michi's fluffy hair, ruffling it affectionately. "I want to introduce you guys to my other younger brother. Michi."
Michi blinked twice in confusion. "Hanagaki Takemichi. Uh.. Shin-nii-san's younger brother, and.. Nice to meet you, misters." The younger said. Shinichiro beamed at the fact that Michi did not introduce himself as Tokyo Manji's at all and rather introduce himself as Shinichiro's younger brother.
"The one that was said to be the brats' new informant?"
"Per.. haps?" Michi answered, looked really unsure about his answers. He quickly swatted his tiny hands, left and right. "It's not like I am Tokyo Manji's or anything, misters! It's just— just.." Michi opens his mouth, and closes it. Lost in words.
Cute.
His younger— youngest brother is so cute it will be the death of him, someday.
Shinichiro patted Michi's head, smiled fondly at the younger before his eyes moved onto seeing the other execs. "He's not officially one of the Tokyo Manji's yet but yes, lately they seemed to claim Michi as one of them. However, different from them, I want to keep things neutral around him. That's why I introduced him to y'all."
Because what matters is Michi's safety.
"You meant," Takeomi, the vice commander and also another one of his best friends, states, "He is not to be touched even if someday the war wages between us and them?"
He nods, "Not like it will happen soon with the truce and all but yeah. Michi is not to be touched no matter what happens between Black Dragon and Tokyo Manji." Again, Shinichiro ruffles the younger affectionately.
"I-if—!" Michi cuts before anyone could say anything, making him the center of attention in that instant moment. "If anyone from Black Dragon needs my help, please don't hesitate to reach out to me! I—" the younger gulped down his saliva before continues.
"—I might not have the talent to physically fighting but, I.. uh.. I have.. uh.. confidence..? in gathering information so.."
If it not for Michi being this cute stuttering and seemingly choosing his words carefully, Shinichiro did not know for what reason the atmosphere around them, which was so tensed before, lightened up so fast it warms.
"What the heck, Shin? You've got this cutie-pie as brother? You lucky bastard"
Shinichiro rolls his eyes and let Waka prevents the shota-con Arashi 'Benkei' Keizo, another one of his best friends, from approaching Michi.
"Touch him and you're dead."
"He looks tame in comparison of that Izana boy and Mikey, though."
He nods, "Of course. My cutest brother, second to none except Emma!"
That night ended pretty delightful, as Shinichiro successfully achieved his goal to introduce Michi to Black Dragons (which will prevent Michi from being hogged up by Manjirou and others), and Black Dragons warm reaction to his little brother.
If there was one thing he did not like, it was the fact that from that day onwards, the Black Dragon's executives began to excessively adore his youngest brother it made his time with the blue-eyed kid to decrease so much.
It sucks.
"Aniki, you seriously brought Mitchy to Black Dragon? Do you ensue war with my gang? Mitchy is Tokyo Manji's!"
"Who said? Even Michi himself said that he doesn't belong to any gangs. Also, This would prevent him from being caught up in between gangs, you blockhead."
"But—"
"No buts, Manjirou. I first thought you just want to introduce Michi to your friends, not for our little brother to join yours."
"However—"
"No."
"Aniki—!"
Whilst the two is on their long lasting argument, Izana approached the object. Their youngest brother who seemed to be baffled by the argument.
"Hey, cub."
"Yes, Izana-onii-san?"
"... Want to meet my pack?"
The younger widened his eyes, it shone and sparkled at the invitation. "Is it the all Were-people friends you've talked before?! Yes I'd like to!"
With that much energy, Izana could not help but to let a small smile creeped up to his face.
