Chapter Text
"You..what..?"
The man infront of you sighs for the nth time. "I was using you so that I could get applied to an agency, didn't you hear me?" You couldn't believe it, no. You refused to believe it. The man you've been with for years, the man that was supposed to love you, the man who swore that he'll be with you until death, is now telling you that you were just a mere tool for his dream.
"Ha..haha..since when did you start being so good at jokes, love?" You laughed it off with sarcasim hoping that what he said was a joke. He scoffs at your sarcastic response and the nickname you called him, "I've already been accepted and I'll debut around next month, I don't need you anymore." Ah, yes. He was using you. Just like how they all were.
You were the eldest daughter of the owners of a huge company that manages and produces idols, actors, performers, anything that has to do with performance arts. Since you were a child you were always treated better than most — no, wait. — you were used more than most, resulting in a lot of heartbreaks and depressing times. But the one time, the ONE time you believed you weren't being used, was the time the Gods of Celestia proved you wrong.
Tears start to form at the corners of your eyes, it took you all of your strength to not let the dam of tears break free. Silence englufs the room as neither of you speak. Finally, he decides to break the silence, "I believe you don't have anything else to say, so I'll be leaving."
He turns on his heel. Drip. He grabs his bags. Drip. He reaches for the doorknob, but before he does he turns around to get a final glimpse of his lover. Drip. You were crying, despite not looking at eyes you were certainly looking at him. A waterfall of tears came down streaming from your eyes, you were so focused trying to proccess his words that you didn't even realize that the man who was just about to leave, is now infront of you. Cupping your cheek with his soft hands. You quickly snap out of your thoughts as you feel his warm touch wipe away some of your tears, you look at him in the eyes — hoping that it was all just some sort of prank. You expected him to tell you that it was just a joke, a prank even. But to your suprise, he leans in and kisses your forehead. "You did well in helping me move one step closer to my goal. But now you no longer are of use."
He turns around, ready to leave, not even caring about the sobbing-mess-of-a-person he was about to leave behind. He reaches for the doorknob and he's about to turn it when you suddenly tackle him from behind which catched him off guard.
"So, was everything...sniff..was everything we went through..was it all..sniff...fake..? Were you planning to hic use me from the start..? Did you even love me?!" Your voice is shaking, your tears dampen his shirt from behind, yet he still pays you no mind.
Silence. Silence was all that could be heard for a few minutes, until he spoke, "I had fun playing with your heart, but I want you — no — I need you to forget about me."
"HOW CAN I FORGET YOU WHEN YOU MADE ALL THOSE EMPTY PROMISES?!"
"Y/N, forget about me."
With one final push, he finally broke free from you and left you alone.
Who was it again? Who was the man that broke your heart? The one who left you to be swallowed by your sadness? Who was he? You can't remember his name, his face, his voice. You can't remember him at all anymore. All that you can remember from that day is how hard you fell into despair.
