Nine convinces someone out of a suicide attempt. Beautifully written, in a way where he doesn't freak out or show pity, instead he's just compassionate. And so, so understanding. It's hopeful but not in a false way, in a "the most radical act in a world that hates you is to love yourself anyway" kind of way if that makes sense.
Basically, this is some very very very nice comfort that rings so deeply true with like, actual depression and suicidal urges. Could be triggering - Main character (OC) begins the fic preparing for a suicide attempt. Not at all graphic, there's not a huge amount of time spent in the character's emotional state beyond a few intro paragraphs, but suicide is an active theme
