Summary
After Uncle Jack left the Featheringtons penniless, a “estranged Aunt” sent them some money to support themselves for another few seasons but Portia is an ambitious mama and managed to find Prudence a match but it comes at a hefty cost. Scraping together all their remaining funds and sucking Penelope’s dowry dry she uses the funds to marry off Prudence and declares that after the wedding she and Penelope will be moving to the country estate, as she plans to sell Featherington house, indefinitely.
Penelope is distraught she will be forced to leave Eloise and the Bridgertons but Eloise and Colin insist they can come up with a plan so Penelope may not leave.
