Chapter Text
( June 5th, 2014 )
Flynn stormed into the living room of the Crimson Palace, and landed face down on the couch, groaning.
“Rough day?” Jessica asked. She and the others were already in the living room talking when Flynn came in.
“Only when I came back from visiting Dad.” Flynn said. (Flynn and Hook refer to Fergus as Dad because he created the two.)
“What happened? It must’ve been that bad for you to come storming in.” Jake asked.
“So after visiting Dad to see how he was doing, I was walking back to the Barracuda. Then Peter showed up telling me not to go see him. When I told him I could go see Dad whenever I want to, Peter had the nerve to tell me that he owned me !” Flynn exclaimed, sitting up.
“He actually said that?!” Hook asked, surprised.
“Yes! It took all of my willpower not to punch him! And I’m usually a nice guy!” Flynn said.
“I’m telling you guys, he’s getting more annoying.” Dread said from his spot with Pharaoh, Mummy, and Pip.
Everyone then started complaining about the things Peter did. After a few minutes, Jake said, “Why don’t we… go against him?”
Everyone froze, then turned to look at Jake. No one spoke for a second, then Fathom said, “Can we do that?”
“Why do you suggest that, Jake?” Dread asked.
“Think about it. Peter is basically dictating all our lives, and nobody likes him, to be honest. So why do we rebel against him?” Jake said.
“Can we do that, Hook?” Beatrice asked.
They all turned to Hook, who was thinking. “It’s not impossible, but…”
“But what?” Jake asked.
“It’s too dangerous. We all know how powerful Peter is. Remember when I told you guys about my time as a lost boy?” Hook said. Everyone agreed solemnly.
“Yeah, but if it's just us going against him. What about all of Never Land?” Jake asked.
That got everyone thinking. Then Hook said, “We… might actually have a chance!”
“But how can we convince everyone to help us?” Beardini asked.
“We tell those we know and are close, then have them tell others, who will then tell others, and so on.” Jake said.
“So we’re actually doing this?” Pip asked.
“Yeah we are! We can finally take him down!” Jake said.
“Where will we have our meetings?” Bones asked.
“We’ll have them here for now. But we’ll have to find another place so Peter won’t find out.” Jake said.
“I think me and Hook can convince Dad to have the future meetings at his place.” Flynn said.
“Do that. If he doesn’t agree, we’ll find another place.” Jake said.
“Alright. Let’s do this!” Jessica said.

Jake looked up at the mountain on Pirate Island, smiling. It’s been so long since he lived here. He wondered how Izzy and Cubby were doing without him.
He walked off his ship and noticed that Izzy and Cubby, along with Skully, were playing on the beach. Jake smiled, happy that they were fine without him.
Skully noticed Jake and smiled. “Jake! What are you doing here?”
Izzy and Cubby turned and saw Jake. They smiled and ran over to him.
“Jake! How have you been?” Cubby asked, hugging Jake.
“Yeah! How’s your crew?” Izzy asked.
“Me and my crew are fine. Great, actually!” Jake said, hugging Cubby and Izzy back.
“What are you doing here, Jake? Not that we don’t appreciate it.” Skully asked again.
“Well…” Jake said, as he let go of Izzy and Cubby.
“Well what, Jake?” Izzy asked.
“Me and my crew have an idea, and we’re recruiting people to help us with it.” Jake said, not sure how to phrase this.
“What’s this idea?” Cubby asked.
Jake hesitated. While he knows he can trust these two, he doesn’t know if they’ll tell Peter their plan to dethrone him.
Finally, he said, “I can’t tell you guys. All I can say is to meet at the Crimson Palace. Skully, inform everyone. But whatever you do, don’t tell Peter.”
“Why not?” Izzy asked, confused.
“He can’t know about this meeting. So don’t tell him.” Jake explained.
“So a secret meeting, basically.” Cubby said.
“Yes. So don’t tell him.” Jake said.
“Okay we won’t.” Izzy said.

It took a while, but they were able to get everyone in Neverland during the time to come to the meeting. Everyone gathered around, waiting for Jake to explain why they were here.
“Hey guys! So you’re probably wondering why we’re having a meeting right now.” Jake said.
“Yes, why are we here?” Queen Caroline asked. (All mermaids have the ability to turn human)
“Before I tell you, let me ask you all something. What do you think of Peter?” Jake asked.
“Well… he seemed nice at first, but lately he’s been… harsh.” Izzy said, everyone agreeing with her.
Jake looked at his team and they smiled, glad to know that they’re not the only ones who don’t like Peter.
“Well… what if we told you all that we’re planning on… basically dethroning him?” Jake asked.
Everyone went silent after hearing that. Then Smee asked, “Is that possible?”
“It is, if we all go against him.” Hook said.
“If you want to help us, you can. If not, we won’t force you.” Jake said.
Everyone seemed to be thinking about it, then Izzy stood up and said, “Jake, I believe I’m saying this for everyone. While it might be dangerous, we’ll help you take Peter down.”
“Really?!” Jake said, surprised. He and his crew thought that some of them wouldn’t help.
“Yes. Like I said, it might be dangerous, but we believe it’s time for Peter to be taken down.” Izzy explained, and everyone agreed.
Jake and his crew were shocked, but then Jake smiled. “Great! That makes it easier for us. Any questions?”
“Where will we have our meetings? Besides here, I mean.” Marina asked.
“We’ll have our first few meetings here, but we know someone who might allow us to use his base. We just need to ask him.” Jake explained.
“Who will be the leader of this rebellion?” Frost asked.
Jake was about to answer, but Jessica beat him to it. “Well, since Jake’s the one who suggested this rebellion, we decided to have him be the leader. And besides, he’s a better leader.”
“That’s true.”
“Very true, considering the fact that most of his crew is not only adults, but some used to be villains.”
“What’s the name of this group?” Stormy asked.
“It took a while to decide, but we agreed on the name “Pirates Against Pan” or P.A.P. for short.” Jake said. “Anymore?”
“I have one question; who’s gonna be the new ruler of Neverland?” The Pirate Princess asked.
This question stumped Jake and his crew, for they didn’t think that far ahead. But then Izzy said, “I think it should be Jake.”
“Me?” Jake asked, surprised.
“Yeah! Like Jessica said, you’re a better leader.” Cubby said, but Jake noticed that he and Izzy were hiding something.
“That’s not the only reason, is it?” Jake asked his former teammates.
Izzy and Cubby looked hesitant, but Izzy said, “You were going to be the next one, but Peter didn’t want you to be, so he kept it from you.”
Jake grew silent when he heard that. Then he said, “Typical of him.”
“So we’re actually doing this?” Misty asked.
“Yeah! We can finally be free of him.” Jake said.
“One question; How can we know the times of the meetings without Peter knowing?” Mollie asked.
Jake was about to say something, but Beardini said, “With these.”
He held up what looked like a pirate doubloon.
“What’s that, ‘Dini?” Jake asked.
“Well, it may look like a doubloon, but it’s not.” Beardini explained.
“How is it not a doubloon?” Izzy asked.
“There are numbers on the side of it.” Beardini said, then gave Jake the doubloon to demonstrate.
Jake looked at the numbers on the coin. “Hey… The numbers represent the date!”
“Exactly. These fake coins will show the date of the next meeting. Jake tells me when the next meeting is and I put it on my coin, which all coins are connected to each other, and it will change the date on all of the coins.” Beardini then pulled out his wand. “Like this, Jake, when do you want the next meeting to be?”
“I was thinking… July 21st of this year.” Jake said.
Beardini then tapped his wand on his coin and repeated the date, where the original date changed to the new date, which appeared on everyone’s coins.
“That’s awesome!” Jake said. “Alright. That wraps up this meeting. Don’t forget the next meeting.”
And with that, everyone left, excited to finally take down Peter.
