Today had turned out to be one of those days.
A day where she could just go outside without worrying that Belos would call her for a task.
A day where she could go out in her civilians clothes and hang out with her!
Though she couldn’t do that anymore not after her big reveal during eclipse lake.
But heck, she wasn’t about to waste this lovely day by laying in bed all day moping like the sad potato she is. She was going to do something.
So that exactly what she did.
And that’s were she finds herself now. Walking along other civilians of Bonesborough.
She was glad she had decided to come out today, since it turned out be a such good day to get some fresh air. Everything that’s been going on in the palace had finally caught up with her. All those restless nights trying find a way on helping her “enemies” while still seeming trustworthy to the empire had her stressed.
Not to mention that all the coven head know about the secret.
So, yeah. She was glad today turned out to be an easy day. Well as easy as it could get.
A jingle caught her attentions from the booth she was standing at. While she stood in place everyone around her rushed towards the sound leaving the witch baffled and even more confused.
“Is something going on today that I didn’t know about?”
A fellow demon nearby looked at her flabbergasted.
“Kid, you telling me you didn’t know about the meet and greet the coven heads are holding today?” The demon questioned
“Ah, that explains it. Something else that he kept from me. It’s know wonder he didn’t call me to be a guard a todays event.” She thought to herself as a question still lingered in the back of her head.
”kid?”
”huh, I mean.. of course I know about today’s event I just forgot. He he,” She answers on the spot.
”rrright.” The demons answers obviously suspicious but decided to drop it.
”anyhow, I gotta go see ya!” She said in a cheerful voice as She waves goodbye and runs towards the crowd. “It’s not like the coven heads are gonna know it me. They’ve never even seen me without a mask. Well, they have but there’s a chance they might not recognize me. So I’ll be fine as long as I lay low and don’t act like out.”
The crowd got bigger and bigger by each second, which didn’t help since it ended up making it harder to get to the front.
As I got close to the stand I stop dead in my tracks as I saw them from a distance
The Owl Lady and the human are in the crowd. Alongside the two are the humans school friends and the owl lady’s pet.
Her body suddenly froze and gulit consumed her.
She was their with them.
The one she hurt.
Before she realized it Tears had started to fall off her face, which she was quick to hid.
”luz! Calm down, it’s not like there here to hurt you. Sure they might yell at you and tell you how you betrayed their trust but not hurt you. Their not like him and you know that.” She told herself as an effort to to calm herself down.
“Besides you’ve dealt with much worse.” Is what she thought so she could get rid of the guilt that was feeding off of her.
“Maybe coming here was a mistake.”
She turn around as she wiped off some of the remaining tears on her face and started her walk back to the palace. Every so often bumping into someone as she tried to get out of the crowd.
Today had really turned out to be a bad day.
“Just a bit more and you’ll be free” she thought to herself In hopes to risen her spirit. Walking along the streets in her civilians clothes she stops once more to look at the sight of the owl lady.
“One day everything I’ve done will be worth it so until than I must wait it out. Maybe I’ll be able to say hello without worrying about a bounty coming after me.”
Putting on her cloak that she left hidden in the woods. She takes one last look at the market and flies off.
”One day, you’ll all see why I did what I did.”

What she didn’t know that a certain owl palisman had been watching her the whole time.
How that owl had been reporting to a certain lady. How the owl had got something shiny from her. A round silver coin from the human realm.
A dime.
The dime that belonged to the Silver guard.
A child.
A child that’s lost just like the dime she held in her hand.
