The door opens and clicks shut. A figure dressed in a white cloak and silver headgear walks in.
Taking off her gear, she settles down on the firm mattress. Like normally, she gets cozy and lets her worries wash away at that very moment. Taking a deep breath she pulls a journal from underneath her bed and begins to write her latest entry.

Dear Diary,
Belos was mad today. He made me help with the extra load as punishment for what I did.
Though I still don't understand what I did wrong.
I just wanted to liven up the place.
But I guess that wasn't a great idea. At least now I know not to add glitter next time.
(Note to self Belos HATES glitter)

I talked to a stranger today
Yes, yes I know about stranger danger but I couldn't just leave her behind. She was crying and besides I wasn't doing anything important.
Her name’s Amity.
Her hair’s dyed green. Of course, she didn't tell me that at first, I found out myself because of the brown roots on the top. When I asked her about it she told me she was thinking about dyeing it a different color as a way of telling her mother she rebelling
Dunno what that's all about.
But, man, she’s so cool. I hope I get to see her again.
Is this what love feels like?

I saw the owl lady and her human today.
They were trying to get money apparently.
But that also meant I had to put up a show for them.
That was fun until it wasn't.
The human kicked me off the ship. Like wth dude.
I hate this.

I tried to steal some palisman. I don’t wanna make Belos hate me more than he already does so I went and tried. Of course, it ended up in failure.
Everything was going all according to plan when all of a sudden the human popped out of nowhere. Everything after that is a blur.
All I know is that Belos is gonna be really mad when I get back.

I know what I am.
I know I'm not human nor a witch.
I've known for a long time yet haven't done anything about it.
I mean there's not much I can really do. I'll keep on living my life as I have been. Maybe make an extra secret trip down to town.

I learned something today!
Apparently, there is paper magic called glyphs!
This is good since I can use that to defend myself in case of an emergency. I can even use it during my escape. Ahem, I mean what escape?

I met up with Amity today! Had lots of fun hanging out.
Like she previously told me, she ended up dying her hair purple

Today I heard about a mission. Apparently, I'm not supposed to know.
Oh well, too late for that.
I've decided to sneak out and get some Titans blood. Maybe then that mean old Belos will begin to trust me.

Belos yelled at me again.
Not only did he lock me in the basement, but he also didn't allow me to eat.
Guess I deserved that for ruining the mission.
Glad I got to snatch you before he announced the punishment.
I hope nothing bad happens.

I got to play with some Hexside kids.
Yay!
Raine gave me a pat on the head and then handed me a scroll. I can now talk to people through Instagram.
I should be happy about this so why do I feel sad?
Maybe It’s because I saw her through the crowd.

Me and the human ended up in Belos mind.
We discovered a lot. Apparently, the human accidentally helped Belos with his plan.
The fact that I’m a grimwalker was revealed.
Even though I already knew that I was a grimwalker, I was scared.
Scared at the thought of being killed or replaced.
I wish to leave
No….I HAVE TO LEAVE.

After her visit to Belo's mind, she left the owl house in a hurry. She ran for a while before stumbled upon an abandoned building. That building is the same very place she had been staying in for the past few weeks. She really wanted to stay but knew she couldn't.
Even though she knew it was only a matter of time before he would find her.
So she made a plan. The last previous days she spent collecting rations along with finishing up her decently stitched cape and mask. When preparations were done she would head to the deepest part of the wood and spend the rest of her life there.
“But if only it were that easy.”
She thought as she changed out of her silver guard gear all while grabbing a clothed mask.
"I can't believe I'm actually doing this." She grabbed her handmade cape. Terribly stitched together. The first thing she needed to do in order to ensure her fulfilling yet not very fulfilling future is to leave the building without getting caught.
"Alright, here goes nothing."
She took a deep breath and walked out of the abandoned building using an invisibility glyph.
Once she was in the woods she gasped for air and darted toward the top of the hill. She continued to run without looking back even while the sun started to set.

It's been a couple of days since she decided to put her plan into action and things have been rough for our fellow grimwalker.
First of all, her first night out in the woods ended up with her getting attacked by a wild demon. That experience helped with grinding shelter within the woods.
Then not even a day later a fire started out of nowhere and burned her journal to pieces,
and to top it all off the owl lady and her pet just had to come through these exact same woods.
That leaves her in her current predicament.
Two pairs of eyes look straight into hers.
Both sides, staring daggers at each other while keeping a defensive stance.
Luz didn't know why the Titans had it out for her, but she did know that she had to get herself out of this predicament. She didn't have anything useful on her that could be of assistance.
So she did the only thing she could do.
She ran.
She ran without looking back. Passing trees, rocks, bushes, and along with many of the forest wonders.
Shouts could be heard calling for her to come back, but she ignored them. She couldn't risk it
A magic light beamed from the corner of her eye. Terrified she ran behind to take cover before running once again but this time in a zig-zag pattern.
"I can't go back," she thought, dodging anything and everything in her path. Phasing out the rest of the world around her.
"I can't go back!" She thought louder, feeling exhausted and ready for this nightmare to end.
"I CAN'T GO BACK!!" she shouted out loud, tripping on a rock and falling onto the hard dirt floor. Her head hit the ground.
When did it get so hard to breathe?
Many memories of her time with Belos started to appear. All the terrible punishment whenever she failed a mission, all that pain she experienced throughout her punishments started to resurface.
Only then did she noticed she was trembling. No, she had begun trembling the moment the owl lady and her dog spotted her. Her breathing also became a bit more harsh a raspy.
“Why can't I breathe" She had begun to panic, droplets of tears falling from her eyes.
Hey, can ya hear me, kid?" A soft voice came from behind.
Meekly nodding to answer the stranger's question while tears still fall from my eyes
"Alright, is it okay if I touch you?"
Another nod realizing whose voice was.
Eda then goes to hold my hand pressing it against their very own heartbeat. Hearing the following instructions she tries her best to do as told. Slowly but surely her breathing gets better as tears continue to fall from her eyes.
Eda then gives a hug while telling her everything would be okay. A couple of minutes pass by before they both let go.
She quickly wipes away the remaining tears as she stands up. Offering a hand to Eda the owl lady who is still on the ground. The dog King watches the interaction in silence. Nobody says anything for about a minute letting this interaction finally sink in.
The first one to speak up is Eda.
“Kid. you've had us worried. Ever since you ran out of the house we've been looking for you.We know things right now are the safest so we wer wonder-” she gets cut off as King yell
“If you wanna live in the owl house for the time being!”
Having witnessed the silver guard run away in fear once and cry in front of Eda just now he didnt think of her as some heartless monster.
Shocked at the sudden question she began to cry once again.
Both startled by the sudden stream of tears they began to offer words of comfort.
“ Hey, it's okay if you don't want to. We can alway jus-
“NO!, I mean if you'd allow me I would be honored.” she said, wiping the remaining tear of her face once again. This time all of them got together for a group hug.
A small smile could be seen on the Owd lady's face.
“Well then, glad we prepared for this outcome.”

2 months had passed since the encounter in the woods.
Everything had mostly returned back to normal. The silver guard aka luz was now on every bounty board in the boiling isles. That made going out a bit harder for her, but with a couple of illusion spells and cloaks it was nothing they couldn't surpass.
Today just so happens to be her 2 month anniversary. She was just chilling in her room when someone came knocking
“Hey, Luz. May I come?" Eda say revel who behind the
Yea." I say to her pausing with what I was doing. I turn to look at Eda.
"Heard you have a knack for writing so I got you this" She pulls out a journal with a black cover and two small bats on the bottom right. It was everything I wanted and more.
It was perfect.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I run up and give her a quick hug before grabbing the journal and running off to the desk in the corner of my room.
She gives me a wave before leaving the room, closing the door shut. Letting the silence sit in just like in the past, she picks up a quill and flips to the first page.
The quill hits the paper as she writes her latest entry.

Dear Dairy #2,
I know it has been a while since I last wrote and many things have happened over that time.
But that's not what I wanna write about. I will eventually tell you how things ended up this way
But first, I want to thank Eda and the others for never giving up on me.
To Amity, for still seeing good in me even after discovering that I was the silver guard.
To Gus, for giving me a second chance.
To Willow, for always being there for me to cheer me up.
To King, for being the best cuddle buddy ever.
And finally to Hunter
Thank you for being the best brother even if I was mean to you when I first arrived. You never gave up on me. Always tried to get to know me even when I didn't want to know you, and that’s why I'm grateful. Because of that I’m here today happier than ever. You'll never realize how much that means to me.
And I think
No! I KNOW
From now on things are going to turn out to be just fine.
