Summary
At Thoma's touch, Ayato's eyes snapped open and he suddenly came to life, thrashing and flailing. The bedside table was knocked over in a crash and the jars fell off, bouncing and thudding loudly on the floor, like sudden thunder in the silence. "Get off me, Tenryou scum!" Ayato gasped out, his eyes wild and unseeing. The bloody patch on his bandaged head was increasing in size, Thoma noted with alarm.
"My Lord, please! It's me, Thoma!" He quickly straddled Ayato, pressing down on his arms, trying to keep him from struggling and further worsening his injury.
"...Who?" Thankfully, Ayato stopped floundering at the sound of his voice and seemed to quieten down.
"What's going on!" Ayaka's panicked voice came through the door. "Thoma, what's wrong?"
