   Couldn't make the deadline , but liked the dance prompt so this fic came to mind.

   It's a bit off canon , Shorty's hasn't been sold yet and Waverly doesn't go to Nedley's office at the end of ep 09, season 01. Instead, she and Nicole drift away, but Waverly quickly realizes her mistake. She wants Nicole, but is it too late? They meet again, during a night of karaoke and dancing. Will Waverly be able to make amends or will the new player make it impossible for them to be more than just friends?
