Summary
Will realized he loved Mike—well, he had loved him since they were kids, really. That wasn't the new part. They had been best friends since childhood, loving each other in a way they couldn't openly admit. That wasn’t the kind of thing boys could talk about—that would be queer. But they knew. The new part was that Will realized he wanted more. But even after realizing the depth of his love, he loved Mike too much to risk losing him by wanting more. So, after admitting to himself he was in love with his best friend, he started coming to terms with the fact that nothing could ever happen between them. He was about to be proved wrong.
